A World Beyond Her Door
She couldn’t believe it. She got expelled for possession of weed that wasn’t even hers.
“Wait till your father gets home young lady, and learn of your expulsion, and make sure you get a beating that you never had before. So you better stay in your room or your going to have the worst beating you ever have in your life.”
She then slammed the door really hard as the young girl began to cry on her rotting bed. This girl is Isabella. She is the second born daughter, but is considered a black sheep in her family. Her dad is alcoholic, controlling, and abusive to only her. Her mom is a who ignores Isabella by spending her money for her husband, and her first born daughter along with being emotionally abusive to Isabella. Speaking of the first born daughter Samara she is considered the most perfect, smartest, and beloved by their parents. While outside she looks like she is perfect, and kind, but inside her she is a selfish, spoiled monster that embrace the praise by her parents while enjoying the abusement as her own way of entertainment. Lastly in her former school life she is bullied, and neglected that she is ignored by her teachers even they give her fail grades since her parents bribed them to give her bad grades.
“I hate it here!! I wish I could go somewhere that I could be free!!” Isabella said till she saw a strange glow coming through the hole in her closet door’s that she walked to it, and stare seeing something on the other side of the door that she opened the door seeing a beautiful enchanted forest that gives her a feeling of freedom.
“Could this be my way out? Could this be my freedom?” She then heard her father come home.
“She is what!! Give me the golf club it’s time for her to be punished.”
“Can I watch, and film it this time?”
”Of course you can.”
”I’m going to enjoy this.”
Isabella quickly locked the door of her bedroom, and put a chair on the knob as she takes out a duffle bag, and began to pack all of her things that she could fit in her duffle bag. Her dad with the golf club knocked on the door violently.
“Open the door!!”
“Forget you!!”
“Oh you’re asking for it!!”
She saw her dad began to hit the golf club at her door that he was tearing her door apart like a axe. After she finished packing she grabbed her duffle bag, and went through the door to the new world. Once she enters she was astonished by everything she sees as the door closes by itself, and disintegrate to nothing as her dad finally destroys her bedroom door ready to hurt her, but she was nowhere to be found.
“Where is she?”
”Search everywhere!!”
“She might be hiding in the closet.” Samara said ready to record her sister’s beating, but when he opens the closet door there was nothing, but her clothes, and shoes that were hand me downs.
“Where is she!!”
”She’s gone. She’s literally just gone.”
”If we ever find her she’s going to suffer even more.”
As Isabella continue to walk she was enchanted by the beauty of this forest which to her surprise they were 50 to 70 feet tall, but to Isabella she felt like she shrunk instead that she wasn’t paying attention on the path till she heard some laughter up ahead that when she got close she behind a bush tree seeing girls her age using magic, and she saw that they have wings. Isabella couldn’t believe it. She was seeing fairies.
”Wow.” Isabella said with shock quietly. She couldn’t believe that there are real fairies.
”You did great.”
”Thanks.”
”Um did that bush just move?”
”Uh-oh.”
”Is someone there?”
Isabella was being frightened that she barely move that she is afraid of what they might do to her.
”Please don’t hurt me.” She said frightened a bit.
”Hey it’s okay. We don’t want to hurt you. Please come on out.”
Isabella slowly got up as the fairies who heard her look surprised.
”It’s a human girl.”
”She looks hurt, and broken.”
”How were you able to enter this place?”
”I just wish to be free away from everyone that wanted to hurt me then my closet doorknob’s hole gave a glow, and I open it seeing this beautiful forest that I packed what I can, and took a leap of faith by going through the door.”
”That’s fascinating.”
”But what do you mean by those that want to hurt you?”
”I’m psychically, and emotionally abused by my parents, and sister. I was also bullied, and ignored by my teachers to the point that I was expelled for having weed in my locker when they weren’t even mine.”
“Poor you.”
”Maybe someone here wanted to bring you to our world.”
”We should take her to the great fairy. Maybe they might help her.”
”Come with us.”
One of the fairies gave out her hand as Isabella became hesitant about grabbing her hand, but she began to trust them as she grabbed her hand.
”We never did get your name.”
”I’m Isabella.”
”Well welcome to our world Isabella.”
Isabella smile for the first time in her life she felt like she is now home.
