His noble act turned into his worst nightmare. Adam Novak married Irene even though he was in love with another woman and his marriage was a complete failure. After the shocking and sudden death of his adopted sister, Martha, Adam makes the decision to end his unhappy marriage and become the guardian to his ten year old nephew, Aaron. He moves back to the home he grew up in to be there for Aaron and help Adam’s younger brother, Jacob, cope with the death of his mentor and guide. Irene has always detested Martha as she concluded that Adam has always been in love with her. With the help of her lover, Ken, she succeeds in ridding herself of Martha. With Martha gone, Irene is convinced that Adam will only have eyes and heart for her. In Irene’s mind, if Adam were left alone in the world, he’d have nowhere else to go but back in her arms. With the help of her accomplices, Ed and Ken, she formulates an unsophisticated method to get revenge on Adam and his family. Adam’s world is turned to chaos as he tries to protect the people he loves most. Will he succeed, or will he forever regret his decision?
