"First of all, I liked how the characters were portrayed. I liked how Mayuko knew she was beautiful, outside and inside, unlike every cliché story when the female MC is insecure. 🤐 And I liked how Duana wasn’t portrayed as the “mean girl” just because Mayuko envied her a little. Second of all, the plot kept me hooked, and I quote, I “binge read” 😂 I really did though. It wasn’t like a story I’d say to myself that I’ll read later. Third of all, the writing and the way the characters and situations were described really made me envision how the story and the setting was like.✨ Overall, the story was very interesting. I thought it was going to be in an actual magic school at first 😂🪄 Keep it up, J! 😋🪄💗 "

"The short stories were able to keep my attention. Even though they were short they were well written and the pacing was amazing. I think these stories are absolutely heart-warming and technically sound. "

"Out of the two short stories available in this collection, I read the first one—Mayuko's story—and it was funny, enjoyable, and lovely. It started with a smart Japanese girl who's helping her crush with his love life, and ended with having her love bloom. I found Mayuko pretty realistic and relatable. Her interactions with her friends were funny, and I loved how much they supported her love for Ricardo. I love how Jenna portrays the importance of friendship and shows how the main character develops throughout the story. I couldn't help but support Mayuko until the very end. Technically speaking, the writing style is compelling and smooth, and I didn't see any mistakes. Credits to the authors for making her story crisp so the readers can focus on the events!👌 If you have little free time and you're craving a read, I suggest you check out this collection. The stories are diverse, but they're all about love, which is the most important thing in the world💗"

"I love the story so much Whisper's of the Heart, much like the title suggests, is a tale that speaks directly to the heart. It beautifully our uncertainties, and doubts which are traitors, keep stopping us. The protagonist, Mayuki, is a relatable, I mean, we've all plotted in our minds against those girls cozying up to our crush and felt the sting of jealousy. The first story hooked me, and I am in love with the characters, from Mayuki to her three friends and her crush. The second story, Anti- love is my favorite for now. The strong bond of friendship between the girls and the trauma that Kate tries to evade by building strong walls around her. I love jaxon persistence and how he keeps trying to knock those walls down. It;s sad that Katie had to go all through that, but I am glad she met someone like Jaxon. Oh my God, I just love Jaxon so much, and his playful and funny moments always bring a smile to my face. The chemistry between him and Kate is undeniable. Jaxon's unwavering support for Kate is truly heartwarming, and it's refreshing to see a male character who is not afraid to show his emotions. The author has done a fantastic job of creating complex and relatable characters, each with their own unique struggles and strengths. It's impossible not to get invested in their stories as they navigate the ups and downs of love, friendship, and personal growth. Overall, this two short stories I have read so far has captured my heart with its compelling narratives and endearing characters. I eagerly anticipate the next story, eager to delve deeper into this captivating world of fiction."

"I finally got around to reading this! I only read Mayu’s story out of the book. The characters and storyline were well developed. I liked the quotes at the beginning of every chapter. They foreshadowed the chapters well. I also appreciated how the readers were able to tell that Mayu was Ricardo’s interest but Mayu couldn’t see it herself. There were things throughout the writing that had me losing attention. There were grammar twists that I didn’t like. Run-on sentences that lead to long, run-on paragraphs. Also sometimes I was trying to figure out if there was a language barrier? If English wasn’t the first and more profound language? But those were just my personal peeves. Everyone has different writing styles! All in all I liked how the story was woven and left you going to the next chapter wondering if Mayu would finally see that Ricardo was talking about her. 😉 good job!"

"I like the idea of different love stories, but it was a bit confusing for me trying to figure out what this story was since initially I thought it'd be a collection of short stories, but now it seems like it's a series you are writing. In that case, I think the chapters could be shorter - they feel very long which can be overwhelming for a reader. I also think a bit of worldbuilding would be useful. There is power in not explaining everything upfront and showing details rather than telling, but I think you have gone too far on the leaving things to be figured out side. I was super confused honestly during the entire thing because at first it felt like they were adults because she's running a sort of business, but then I was like wait are they in high school? I think the role of magic could be explained a bit better sooner just to feel a little more grounded in the story since I kind of lost some of the romantic aspect while trying to figure out what the heck was going on. You do have interesting characters though and they sound realistic to their age (that is if my idea of their age is correct lol) and I find it interesting how you have incorporated Japanese culture into the story - I find that sometimes people will write stories that take place in other countries/feature characters of another culture and they just miss it completely or present caricatures I like your writing style overall, it sounds nice and there's not many grammatical or spelling errors Good job and keep up the good work!"
