Summary

"Just as God created good and bad human, he also created good and bad angels. One protects people... and the other takes it with them to... death..", he said with a smile. "You're talking about the... Angel of Death?" "Yes..." he said smiling again. He took my hand and brought it to his lips and kissed it briefly. "I am also pleased to make your lovely acquaintance..", and winked at me.

"I'm warning you. If you don't have the money tomorrow, I'll think of another way to get it."

"Yes Jackson, I promise! Tomorrow I'll bring the money!" He panted with joy like a dog that was about to get a treat.

"See you tomorrow then.." Jackson said without changing his expression and kissed the woman's hand tenderly, which had been resting on his shoulder the whole time.

"Yes Jackson, thank you! I will be here on time! Trust me!" he said in relief, bowing over and over as he backed towards the door.

Although money was the last thing Jackson cared about, under normal circumstances he would not have granted him the extension... not a second time!

He was lucky that Jackson had a woman standing next to him and wouldn't want to scare her for something as mundane as money.

"Sorry dear. I hope his loud pleading didn't disturb you..?"

"No Jackson..", the woman behind him said very quietly.

"Come here..", he said with a grin and pulled her onto his lap, whereupon his men immediately left the room. "How about..?"

He couldn't get any further. Loud noises could be heard from outside his door.

"HEY!" he yelled from his chair and immediately one of his men came back inside. "What's going on?!"

"It's Samuel, again! He says he's got an offer for you!"

"Why didn't he make that offer, just before he left?!" he asked angrily.

"He says because of the lady standing next to you..."

He closed his eyes and breathed slowly in and out to keep his composure.
"Honey... you don't have to be here if you don't want to. I don't want you to be bored..."

"But we wanted to go shopping together?" the lady pouted and looked at him sadly.

"We will. As soon as I've heard his offer, we'll drive off. If you want, Wayne can accompany you to the car?"

"No, I want to go with you..."

"Ok.." he said with a smile and kissed her briefly on the lips.

He got up, sat the woman in his place and went to the front of his table.
"Let him in.." he said with his arms folded in front of his chest.

Samuel rushed in and stopped when he saw the woman sitting in his place.
"I.."

"I'm listening Sam.." he said calmly and waited for him to continue.

He raised his head and uncertainly looked at the woman.. To quickly turn his gaze back to Jackson, again.

"I DON'T HAVE TIME ALL DAY, DAMN!" Jackson yelled at him and you could see, how Sam jumped up in shock.

"S-sorry! I just th-thought... maybe...!", and paused again before continuing with his head bowed. "I've heard there is something for you that is much more valuable than money..."

He slowly looked up at him and saw Jackson's eyebrow instantly rise.

"Yes. However, I don't think, that there's this anything valuable walking around you.." he said, laughing.

"You're wrong. And she's even more valuable than your... current possession...!", he said self-confidently and looked directly at him.

"I don't dare to say, that we're talking about the same values...!", he said confidently, but he nodded, prompting him to continue talking.

Courageously, Samuel took a step forward and said quietly:
"She's my receptionist at work. Beautiful and...!"

"Jackson!" the woman suddenly shouted behind him. Apparently he wasn't quiet enough.

"Wayne... please take Celeste to the car. She wants to go shopping..." Jackson said without looking at him.

Wayne obeyed immediately, but the lady objected.

"And what about you?! In the meantime, you'll check out the 'beautiful' receptionist?!" she yelled, trying to get out of Wayne's hands.

"Celeste... please," he said softly, went to the her and stroked tenderly over her cheek. "Nothing like that will happen. We'll talk tonight.."

"No! I'll wait here!" she said defiantly.

"Celeste please, it would be better if you left. I would like to be alone with Samuel."

"Let go of me, Wayne! I want to know what this Samuel has to say!" she said defiantly and stopped dead in her tracks.

"He won't say anything, because I'll talk.... and you won't like the way I'm going to talk to him. Please.... I don't want you to hear or see that..", he said patiently.

"I beg you, Jackson! I hear you whisper the most indecent sentences in my ear every evening! The few curses won't bother me!"

She met his eyes defiantly and yanked her arm out of Wayne's grasp again, after Jackson gave him a silent nod.

Most of the time he tried to persuade the lady next to him with gentle words... but it didn't always work.

And well... Like all the other wishes before, he also fulfilled her this wish. Those eyes were just asking for it!

So why should he deny her this wish as well?

"I warned you, dear..", he said first in her direction and then turned to Samuel. "You should have waited until tomorrow with your really valuable offer, because then there would have been no misunderstandings with Celeste. And your second mistake is that you make this offer to me while a woman is in the same room with us. Not to mention that she shared the bed with me.... A man really shouldn't do that..."

Then he turned his face back to Celeste.

"In the last few months I've granted you every wish and treated you with respect. I would have expected you to respect yourself as well. But I see I was wrong."

"What's that Jackson?! You... What do you mean by that?!"

"That from today on, our ways will apart......" he said calmly.

"What?!" she yelled out.
She came in his direction with quick steps and gave him a hard slap in the face. "Just because I once didn't listen to you?!"

"No..", he said, obviously unfazed by her slap and turned back to Samuel. "That's why...", and with a quick movement, he took his gun from his belt buckle, held it in the middle of Samuel's forehead and.....

"BANG!"
