Prologue
A beautiful day. So gorgeous. The wind breezed a nice, mellow current. The sun’s heat hit just the spot. Kids playing around the grass, mothers finishing up the laundry, and fathers working till their bones ache. The sound of children laughing in joy is a wonderous sound. A boy with violet hair ran after a girl with olive green hair. He was laughing as he tried to catch up to her. He chased her up a hill, where there was a humongous tree on the top of it. The girl tripped and fell flat on her face. The boy quickly stopped and looked at the fallen girl.
The boy: Are you okay?
The girl began to sniffle a little, slowly but surely she began to cry. The boy quickly began to freak out on what to do.
The boy: Um! Don’t cry. Please don’t cry. Ummm.
She ignored the boy and kept crying. The boy looked down and saw her wooden glasses. He picked them up and tried to hand it to the girl.
The boy: Um! Hey! Look! Your um? You know, um.
The girl slowly looked up at the boy as she was sniffing. She slowly grabbed her glasses and put them on.
The girl: T-thank you…
The boy smiled in response.
The boy: No problem. I’m super glad I was able to help.
The girl slowly stood up as she wiped the tears off her face. She extended her hand out for a handshake. The boy looked at her hand and then looked back up at her.
The girl: W-well, you got me..
The boy shook his head in disagreement.
The boy: No. That wasn't fair. I'll give you the win this time, Lysola.
The girl named Lysola smiled at the boy.
Lysola: Well, if you say so.
Lysola looked at the tree and smiled. The boy noticed that Lysola was looking at the tree. She decides to ask the boy a question as she turns to look at him.
Lysola: Are we still going to be friends? Even after so many years...
The boy turns towards Lysola and grins in joy.
The boy: Of course! We'll still be friends and I will make sure to protect you from anything bad!
Lysola giggles at the boy's response.
Lysola: Thanks, Altair.
