What is your opinion?

A great story!

"What intrigued me: the direction this plot takes is a very unique and singular one. I’m one to write polyamorous relationships so it’s very refreshing to see another fellow author dive into those waters as well. I’m not poly myself but I love the “why choose when you can have both” trope in both my reading and writing. I must say, I do appreciate the LGBT aspects of this novel cause they’re so damn vivid and the relationships are actually CUTE!! Again, very well written in terms of the relationship dynamics and how well it works with the plot. The plot’s best aspects: Now, I’m a fan of supernatural I’m sure we all can agree if you take a peek at my profile. Shifters, angels, demons, you name it I write it. This story does an incredible job of introducing us to the supernatural world. It takes a minute and of course it cuts off as this is a sample. Chapter 13 and 18 throw me off a bit because it’s such a huge jump in the storyline but I can totally understand the decision to include them. Also, I must say the erotic aspects of this story are insanely good!! I find myself really in the moment when their intimate scenes pop up and holy do I need a water break haha Any afterthoughts I can share with the author: I’m no editor, nor do I portray myself as one, so when I review books on free apps K usually stray away from pointing out any mistakes. Now with all of that said I didn’t find any mistakes as I was too enthralled by the story to focus on those technicalities. I mean who geos into a story searching for the mistakes? You’re just going to end up ruining a potentially great book for yourself. Anyway, I noticed the author gave us a sample of this story, not sure if it’s a WIP she’s planning on publishing, but I must tell her now… DO IT!! If you’re planning on self publishing I promise this book will do great with some marketing toward the correct audience. Also, a great cover would do this story wonders! You can get a free cover from a shop on Wattpad! They have some amazing designers. (Ps. So sorry this review took forever. Busy busy woman around here haha hope the review helps in any way. Really enjoyed this story!)"

A Very Unique Concept

"[This Review written on 04/08/2022, reflecting the work as it stands] Plot: The plot is engaging and different from your typical romance. The relationships are healthy - even though there is a defined dominant/submissive dynamic the dominance is softer and more caring as opposed to an ego-driven dominant that must be pleased and appeased. Opalin also shows a healthy polyamorous relationship that avoids falling into a stereotypical harem. Toss in a splash of the supernatural for flavor and you get a romance story that's sure to intrigue. Writing Style: Opalin does a good job of bouncing between perspectives and showing all the major characters equally. Each character has a unique voice to them and well-fleshed out personality that shows through their dialogue and actions. Technical Writing: I don't have a whole lot to say about this, but it is nice how Opalin makes an effort to show shifts in perspective and distinguish between the multiple forms of communication used. Overall: While I'm not normally into romance, especially romance that gets a little spicy/erotic at points, there is enough going on where I feel like my time was still well spent reading it."

A cliché done perfectly.

"I've read so many books similar to hers on inkitt so it was predictable and kind of a slow read with the novel being still in the making and somewhat short. This is around its 8th chapter at the time of this review. But the writing style gets you immersed and has little to no spelling errors. That's great. The reason for the two-star in the plot is not because it sucked or anything. It just didn't feel original and you could get the same feeling reading any other romance. And it just doesn't seem fair to lower the overall story because of a somewhat unoriginal plotline. Now would I read again? Sure. The book was a good book for romance. Had all the cheesy tropes and the erotica bit was fun to read sure. Not saying the book itself sucked. That's not my point at all. I think the plot was just unoriginal and predictable. Well structured and the plot didn't leave any questions. Like many other romances. So yeah three on plot and four overall."
