Blood In The Water
A lot of deaths have occured lately, its mainly been girls from 15-17 and the town is on lockdown. My family has been alert because Ive recently turned 16. My brothers always walks me home, even though he misses some of his football practices and gets home late. My parents drive me everywhere and frequently check on me.Most of the recent girls who have been murdered were in the homeroom and im the last one, bur the next homeroom, number 202, has started to experience those murders as well, more and more girls are dying and we dont know why. The sheriff and their police department are trying their best to keep us all safe but all we can do is hope itll all end soon. The most recent girl had a slash on her neck and was found in Dawson Lake. Her name was Julie and we used to be best friends in middle school, so it was pretty hard for me to cope from Julie's death. All the girls are scared and every single one of the boys are on high alert. The boyfriends are on even higher alert. My boy best friend is being more overprotective than ever. The boys are acting like security guards and we all have to admit it’s nice and it makes us feel safer. My boy best friend, Darren, is in every single one of my classes so he’s my personal escort. Any time somebody get too close, Darren jumps in. Even though Darren has done so much he’s been acting weird, and I don’t mean occasionally. He keeps blushing, making eye contact, and getting pretty close to my face. I didn’t notice until lately because I’ve been so focused on the murders. At first, everyone thought they were accidents until it happened more frequently. When it camw the time for me ‘to die’ it didn’t happen. Everyone thought I’d die next since I was the last girl in my homeroom. People made up rumors that I was the killer and that why I didn’t die but now that there are only two left in homeroom 202 they’re all waiting to see if another didn’t die. Although, that was the hot gossip I couldn’t listen to it so I went home early one day without telling anyone, as I was walking next to Dawson Lake I kept hearing footsteps..
