[Chapter One]
It all started nearly eleven years ago now when I see an advert in a shop Window in South Ockendon, Essex. A woman locally was selling Staffy Puppies for just a £100, so wasting no time I gave the number a call in the hope she would still have some left. She told me she did & that I could go view what was left of the litter that same evening.
Turning up at the house, my full intentions were to purchase a female but the second I met her an all black staffy, she hissed just like a cat would lol. Obviously I thought that was a bit odd so started to have second thoughts, when at that very same moment of he come bouncing round the corner with his humongous father by his side. A proper little daddy's boy!
He was just so tiny & beautiful. An all white baby boy with a patch on his left eye & another on his back, what wasn't there to love! My decision was made!
The best £100 I've ever spent!
His mother, a much smaller bitch in size compared to the father was quite happily doing her own thing so wasn't too fussed with me cuddling him, whereas his dad was completely protective of his baby therefore had to be taken into another room. I then paid the money & left with my new best friend.
Cradling him in my arms on the walk home, I'll never forget telling him "I will always love & look after you!", as I took him home for the very first time.
A proper mischevious little character, his personality was clear from the very start. A complete & utter little sh*t whose full intentions were to regularly urinate all over my Studio Flat & chew absolutely anything he wanted from anything wooden ie, doors & cupboards to my much needed essentials like the IPhone Charger lol, I really did have my work cut out with this little fella!
Such fun to play with, I'll always remember him bouncing around the flat, skidding all over the laminate floor & nipping my fingers & toes whenever he felt like it, & with this dog it was kind of a regular occurence haha.
Looking into his tiny brown eyes, I had never felt this blessed since the birth of my daughter, I adored this little furbaby so much.
Needing a name now, I then went on to name him Kai (Akai) after the Home Drum Machines used in Hip-Hop Music & this is where the story begins.
