Summary

In today's virtual world, where everything happens online, there are just many kinds of people on the internet as it is in real life. Rose, an extroverted teenager who has met all these kinds of people, knows very well how to deal with them and how to make online creeps stay in their limits. But one day, when a guy who's definitely different from the others wants to befriend her, she is confused but happy to be friends with a guy who respects people on social media and isn't a creep like the others. He is rather open about his choices and wishes, but he is still hard to figure out. At the end of all this - is he who we all think him to be? Is he just a random online friend, a creep who failed on his plans, or someone more than all this...? *Based on a true story* 'May 2, 2020, nighttime, me sitting boredly on my phone. That's when I noticed a notification from Instagram. "Hi" By ins_ane_kid_ Huh? Who's this now? Without checking the message, I straight up went to his account and checked it out. ~~~~~~~~~~ I thought he was gone and wouldn't message me again. Well anyways, guess who broke my hopes and returned the next day?'

Prologue

Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Quora, Pinterest, Wattpad etc etc.

I can’t even count the number of social media apps nowadays. I’m there in most of them except Twitter, but of course my all time favourite app is - Instagram! (Plus Wattpad, but that’s because I like writing stories)

I used to be in another school actually. But when I changed to my current one, I missed my old friends. And any way I could find them? At first, no. Then, years later, YES!

I entered Instagram when I turned 13. Not actually on my birthday, just some days before it. I followed my family members first, then searched for my current friends and classmates.

My besty/crime partner is Stella. She is more extroverted than I am, but I’m the one who’s a tomboy and loves to prank friends. She’s online in WhatsApp mostly 24/7, so I thought she might be there in Instagram as well. To my disappointment, however, she wasn’t.

My other friends are Mia, Riley, Amy, Samantha and Devyn. Riley, Stella and Mia are my closest friends - they talk to me literally everyday. Not a single day without chatting or talking, in reality or virtually.

However, Amy isn’t there in Instagram either, just like Stella. Mia, Sam, Riley and Devyn are there, but Devyn isn’t much active.

Sam and Riley use their parents’ account sometimes, but if we send them something they may check it only after one or two days.

Well, Mia and I are the most active on Instagram. We both have nearly the same number of followers with me having a little more, and we both equally get messages from random dudes and even girls. What’s even weirder, these dudes haven’t even seen us in reality and already wanna marry us. And we’re not even adults yet!

Okay, maybe that isn’t a thing to joke about, but hey, at least it’s only online and not in real life, so it’s not such a big deal to not take it seriously. In fact, I take it in so much of a jok-ey way that it can actually be made into a humourous story, but it’ll be pretty much of a horror story for people who are easily creeped out by online predators, like Mia.

So, our story starts approximately on May 2nd.
