Chapter 1

My name is Sabrina Wanye, and I’m 15 with long blonde hair, baby blue eyes. I am outgoing, determined, very humorous, love to read, adventurous, courageous, not afraid, love to listen to music, open minded, tech savvy, and friendly.

It’s the first day of grade 10 on Wednesday at Centennial High School. As I take my first step through the crowded front entrance of school, I say to myself that the next three years will never be forgotten. As I make my way to my Yotes class after the, “Welcome to Centennial” assembly, "Out of the corner of my eye, I catch someone else’s gaze who is leaning against a nearby wall. The next thing I know, we walk up to each other. He has emerald green eyes, perfectly plump, kissable lips, when he smiles, I feel butterflies in my stomach. Oh, his hair is perfect, just wanting to run my fingers through it.

“Oh! I'm sorry, I didn’t mean to. Are you ok?” I asked.

“Yes I am. You?” he replied.

“I’m fine, thanks for asking. Hi, my name is Sabrina Wanye. What’s your name?” I asked.

“My name is Dean Winchester,” Dean replied.

“It’s nice to meet you, Dean. See you around then?” I replied.

“Yes. See you around” said Dean.

The next day, the two meet up at lunch to get to know each other more.

“So, how are you, Sabrina?” Dean spoke out to break the silence.

“I'm good; how are you?” I replied.

“I'm good. So, you like Centennial so far?” he asked.

“It’s good so far.” I said, just as the bell rang.

When I went to my third class, I noticed that Dean was in this class. “Sabrina? Are you in this class?” he said. I nodded my head.

“You can sit right beside me if you want?” said Dean.

“Are you sure? You don’t mind?” I asked.

“I don’t mind,” Dean said. So I sat next to Dean. When I walked to school in the morning, Dean and I exchanged their morning greetings.

“Good morning, Sabrina. How are you?” Dean asked.

“I’m good, you?” I replied.

“I’m good, thanks for asking.” Dean replied.

“I’ve got to go to tutorials. See you at lunch?” I said. The rest of the day was a blur. When Science came around, I was in for a surprise. There was a new student in the class, and his name was Tom Westinn. I went up to Tom and introduced myself; there was a gleam in his eye when I made eye contact. Class went by very slowly; when it finally ended, Tom jumped and said “What the heck was that? It sounded like a UNICORN!”

“Well that was the bell, and it was Friday! Thank Goodness it’s Friday!” I said excitedly.

It's the 15th of September

“Hey, Sabrina, can I walk with you?” Dean asked.

“Yes you may.” I said.

“Can I ask you something?” he inquired.

“Sure.” I replied.

“Will you go out with me?” Dean asks.

I thought to myself, finally, he asked me out. “Yes I will,” I said.

A smile breaks out across his face.

When October rolls around, its parent-teacher interviews are around the corner.

The day has come for the parents to meet their kids and teachers.

“Oh! Hi Dean, how are you?” I said.

“Hi, Sabrina I’m good, you? These are my parents, my mom, Mary, and my dad, John. Who do you have with you today?” said Dean.

“I’m good, thanks for asking. Well, I have my mom Heather and my dad, Bruce. Look, Dean, I found our friend Tom.” I said just as Tom walked up to the group.

“Hello everyone, I would like to introduce my mom, Amy, and dad, Kevin,” Tom said politely.

“Amy? Is that you? How long since we last saw each other?” John said.

“John, it's been sixteen years,” Amy replied.

“We need to catch up sometime,” John said.

“We can do that,” Amy said.

“It can just be adults,” Dean said.

“Yes we can do that,” John said.

All of my teachers gave me great praise.

"We are so proud of you, Sabrina" Bruce says.

With Halloween two weeks away, Dean asked me if I would go to the dance with him and I accepted.

“Are you going to dress up?” Tom asked us.

“Yes, are you?” I replied.

“Maybe,” Tom said as he ran off to talk with his other friends.

“Dean, are you going to dress up?” I said flirtatiously.

“Yes, I will. If you did dress up, what would you dress up as?” Dean asked.

“A Cat. What are you dressed up as?” I said.

“You will have to see,” he said to build suspense.

Halloween was on a Friday, so the streets will be filled with kids, teens, and parents. The day has finally come for all the ghouls and ghosts to come to roam the earth. When I walked into school, I just could not find Dean. Dean was so sneaky that he snuck up behind me to scare me.

“Boo!” Dean said, making me jump.

“You scared me!” I said, surprised.

“That was the whole point. Meow. Guess what you think I'm dressed up as?” Dean explained.

“Properly a lumberjack.” I exclaimed.

The day was going to be like any other day, but after school, everything was going to get even spookier. When school ended, all of the students went home and got all dressed up for the dance. When we got back to the school, which looked haunted, had spider webs and spiders all over the walls and lockers. As the DJ set up his equipment, the both of us got our tickets and then walked into the gym on a night that will never be forgotten. Tom danced his way over to us. As the night went on, the three of us had a blast. Tom found some of his friends and danced with them. Dean held me around the waist, pulled me close to his body, and we swayed side to side. With Dean and me alone together, Dean had a look in his eyes, which means that he was thinking about something?

“Sabrina? Please don’t get mad at me?” Dean asked.

“Sure what is wrong?” I replied.

“I…I.…love… you.” Dean stammered.

“Ahh Dean. I love you too.” I said I was relieved.

So after the dance, the teens either took the bus or got a ride from family or friends. I got a ride from Dean; I got a text from my mom saying “if your friend Dean wants to join us for dinner and hand out candy, he can.” I relayed the message to Dean, and he said yes sounds great. As the night went on, the number of people who came to the door was amazing.
