GRIPPING
"I can’t even put to words how much I’m indulged in the story! Author congrats, yet again you’ve managed to put me on the edge of my seat!"
Bingable
"I binged in one night and can't wait for more! I love a good story about obsession, and this one doesn't disappoint. The two leads make the story feel unique and the author adds some original twists that definitely kept me wanting the next chapter."
Thrilling & unique
"The writer sure knows how to make this more thriller & unique. Well, well, well, what do I say; I'm impressed...."
Breathtaking and unique!
"Who doesn't like a good thrill of a kidnapping? But what makes it different is that it has a woman mastermind instead a man cliche. And the intense mindgames and manipulation between Veronica and the abductor has me on an edge. Can't wait to read from the eleventh chapter!!!!!!!!!!"
Thrilling!
"This story had me hooked! It's one of those twisted romance stories that keep you on the edge all the time. The author is really good at creating mystery, thus it doesn't feel like typical romance book. All the twists and turns are really gripping. Highly recommended!"
Deep, disturbing, dark, tender
"A kidnap story which catches you off-guard because you can't make up your mind between feeling pity for the kidnapper and feeling they've gone overboard. Veronica, the kidnapped protagonist, does not succumb to one-dimensionality. The stomach-twisting slow pace of revealing crucial pieces of information amps up the tension. I would prefer if Veronica wasn't ogled by everyone at work in the beginning of the story, because that seems a bit cliched, to have an 'everyone wants me' pretty girl as a protagonist, but apart from that, wow! Mind games between Veronica and the kidnapper are so tense and disturbing that it leaves me wanting more. 10 chapters so far and I waiting for more."
Amazing!!!
"I'm absolutely amazed by this story. I love a good hostage and kidnapper story but this has got me hooked! The writing flows very nice and with each chapter, I keep on wanting more. I don't know if this is going to have a happy ending but I'm sure there'll be a lot of hilarious and spicy moments between Veronica and Ellie. I'm scared for Veronica but at least she senses the danger too. This is really good. Nice job Juli!"
Obsessed
"This story is still ongoing, but I'm already obsessed with it! The plot is amazing, and the characters are well written. Miss Harper is the possessive kind, but I love these characters. I'm glad that the writer made Veronica a spit of fire that didn't just submit to the more powerful character in their first meeting. I hope they become a couple in the future. Keep up the good work!"
Her hostage
"I'm loving this author. The story so far is great and I can't wait to read more of it. "
Definitely a Great Twist!
"Interesting story, not your typical kidnapping love story. I enjoyed watching the characters develop overtime. Sometimes I wish the story had more details and the chapters were longer, but excited to see what happens next! "
Her Hostage
"Writing style needs more development. I think you're too direct with the story; for example, the flashback to the suicide attempt was (in my opinion) unnecessary, because it didn't add anything new to the characters or story; we already knew what had happened. Another suggestion is that you should leave some instances unsaid, and then the readers deduce it from clues. For example, instead of being told she''s been brought to Greece, have her observe her objects of her surroundings, the housekeeper's accent etc, and make her derive a horrific conclusion. On a side note, was pleasantly surprised that it was a woman who kidnapped and developed an obsession with her. All too often those roles go to men, especially in fiction. Would love to know where this is going."
