Prologue
I’ve known since I was a young girl that I was different… that my life wasn’t meant to be the same as other girls.
My life always ran different, was never on the right track. It had also always been quite chaotic, to say the least, and always moving faster than others.
Having to grow up at such a young age really shows you how complicated life can be. How we tend to make wrong or bad decisions. How someone else is always judging your life and how you live it.
When I finally thought my life was going right… I met him, Curtis.
From day one, we had always had our disagreements and arguments. We did each other wrong and made horrible mistakes to one another.. but one thing is for certain, we always found our way back to one another.
Never in a million years did I expect my life to be the way it had turned out. I always dreamed of going to my dream college, meeting the right guy, falling in love, exploring the world, getting married, and THEN having kids. But little did I know life had different plans for me. And now… I wouldn’t trade it for anything because I have my family, no matter what order it came in.
