Chapter 1
Look around you. Look at the people around you. Look at any animal close to you. Look at the sky, do you see any birds? Look at the greenery around you, is there any?
When you go to a restaurant and a family or group of people are together, most likely they will be on their phones then talking to each other. That’s the end of socialization. If you see any animals around you, it might be a dog, cat or bird but no bugs, raccoons, or squirrels and that’s the end of wildlife because of development in our community and we are leaving no space for the wildlife. The greenery you might see around you are a couple of trees and grass and that is the end of greenery because right now where you’re standing was probably a forest. We are cutting down all the greenery we have each day and no one is talking about it.
The end arrives when we don’t speak back and just watch things happen and say “it is what it is”. If all the freedom fighters and soldiers say this half of the population would be dead and as a brown person in Canada would have not been able to come out to different countries. The end is near and everyone knows it.
