Chapter 1
San Diego, California, June 4th 2017, A group of kids Max, James, Zoey, Kim, Lola and Cody, we all went to the same school and had some classes together but some of them didn’t really know each other. Kim , James, Zoey, Cody and Lola knew each other but me and mia only knew each other, oh, and me of course, my name is Teresa, sorry about that. It was the big day of our field trip to a campsite, I was the only person that ever went camping and I only went camping once in my entire life. It was a mandatory field trip and if we didn’t go or show up, we would not graduate, so we didn’t have any option, the two buses were ready outside and it was time for the worst terrifying trip of our entire life. “I did not want to go on this trip “Kim said angrily

“how long is this trip ms.conner”, Kim said
“this trip is for a week and we will be back on the following Monday, now everyone on the buses come on”.
The trip would take three hours to get to ,since the camp was by the lake, it was the best camp in the whole state and the name is called camp diamond, named after the diamonds found in the river that runs through the camp, many people would kill for these diamonds that's why they gave the camp the nickname death valley.
“Death valley is a little much for a campsite don’t you think ”mia said
“what do you mean” I said sarcastically
“the nickname of the camp is called death valley”
“interesting, hope nobody dies” I said laughing
“I’m serious, I don’t think this is a good idea” mia said, “don’t worry, they had to do their research before taking us to a place they didn’t know about, just relax and stay calm”. We were arriving at the entrance way of the camp and it was so beautiful the trees, the plants and we even seen a herd of moose when we were coming into the camp.
“Ewe, this place is a dump, who would stay here” Zoey said
“stop complaining and shut up” max said,
“who is he talking to like that” Lola whispered in Zoey and Kim ear, I knew that it was just going to be me and mia this whole trip but I was really ok with that, and since it was so damn hot that day, we all just picked a cabin to hang in and changed into our swimming suits and shorts than we just all ran to the lake, me and mia didn’t really go in the water but everyone else did, we just watched.
It was a rope on a tree and they were just swinging from it and throwing and pushing people in the water but I didn’t really care. I was just writing in my book about what I saw like the moose, the deer and the geese grazing on the other side of the bank,
“hey, bitches come jump in the water it’s feels very good” Zoey told us,
“no, were ok” Mia told her, than all of a certain these hands came from out of nowhere and picked me up, I looked over and seen James and max caring mia to the water, she started screaming, I can’t swim, I can’t swim but they didn’t care, i tried to help her but it was to late they threw her in, then they threw me in and all i saw was water. I came up but i didn’t see mia, I screamed for her name again and again but no answer.
Everyone around me just looked and stood there, she came up from under the water and screamed my name, i swam over to her and put her arm over my shoulder and helped her back to the shore.
“What the hell is wrong with you, you could have killed her” I screamed, walking towards Kim getting in her face
“maybe we should have” Kim said, I slapped her right in that pretty white face of hers, she got up and slapped me in the face , we started fighting as we punched and slapped each other, her friends jumped in and started to pull my hair, mia was still on the ground coughing up water. James and max broke us up but I wanted to hit the bitch that was pulling my hair so I turned around and punched her, she fall into the water and Cody wanting to be hero jumped in to help her out, me and mia walked back to our camp and changed into some dry clothes.
