Chapter 1

Today was your 3rd year anniversary with your mafia boyfriend.

You was so excited to surprise him with his presents, and his favourite meal. Especially that cake you baked for him.

Lately he had been a bit distant with you, so you thought this would cheer him up.

It was 5pm and your boyfriend normally gets home around 5:30pm. You sat at the table with his present, smiling waiting for him to get home. It was now 9:18pm and your boyfriend still wasn't home.

You was starting to get worried until you heard the door open. "Why are you still up?"

You ignored him. You were really upset.

Instead you stood up and started to walk up the stairs. "Foods in the oven if you're hungry." You couldn't believe he had forgotten your anniversary.

You went into the guest room and changed into some shorts and a top. Them climbed into bed.

One tear after another feel down your cheek, to the point they wouldn't stop. You couldn't believe the happiest day of the year had just turn't into the worst.

You wondered if you was just a burden in his life and if he would even be better without you.
