Chapter 1.
Nicolas POV
"It's about time you found yourself a wife" my headbone of a father said as he yelled his words at me like that could make me care more.
"It's not as easy as it looks" I replied disinterested while he scoffed knowing that was a total lie. "Oh really?" He asked taking obvious interest in what I said but I remained silent. "Don't tell me I didn't warn you" he simply stated. "Is that a threat?" I asked raising an eyebrow challengingly.
"Silence!!" Mother yelled as her word echoed the who dining room. Mum never interfered when dad and I were spitting fierce words at each other during meals so I guessed thus got to her nerves. "Can you guys have this conversation later while we eat in silence" she said as she returned back to her calm nature but I didn't miss the glare she sent in my way.
Looking at the far end of the long ridiculous table, I met the disappointment in my mom's eyes. With hesitation, I ate in silence feeling bad that I had disappointed my mum and that I didn't mean to do.
As dinner came to an end, I excused myself and walked out of the room. Phew! that was so intense.
"Good morning my prince" the low borns greeted and I nodded in response as I walked down the hall coming to a halt at my door. Without hesitation, I inserted my thumb into the verification hole as my door opened once it verified it was me.
Coming out of the bathhouse with just a towel wrapped around my waist, a familiar soft knock came through my door and I walked to open it revealing my mum with a gentle smile.
"May I come in." she asked and I opened the door widely while she walked in."You know I love you right? " she asked and I nodded in response. "Your dad and I want the best for you and the best will come soon after you've found your P.A" she said taking my hands in hers.
"With how things are going, we strongly believe your P.A is outside these walls" she continued once she realized my confused state. "Your Dad and I have made up our mind to send you to the human world and until you find your P.A, you are not allowed to return." She concluded. "It he banishing me?" I asked in surprise. "It is the best thing to do and besides, life in the human world is not as bad as it looks.
You will stay over at uncle Larry's home and he will be your dad till you've found your P.A.In the meantime, uncle Larry will enroll you in a highschool."
Mum stated while I sighed in defeat. "Seems everything was planned without my point of view. I am only doing this because you think it is the best thing to do not because dad said so" I responded while mum smiled looking content. "Remember we are always here for you." She said lowly as she embraced me. "I love you" I said genuinely. "I love you too" she replied as we departed from each other.
"You are leaving first thing tomorrow morning, so make sure you pack all you will need" she said as she walked out of the room. Good news is I am leaving my head bone of a father and the bad news is I will miss this place.
Iyanna point of view (POV)
"I just can't wait to get the heck out of this school" Deepti said in total excitement. "I know right" I responded sharing her excitement. Going to college was our number one priority so knowing we had only one year to step our foot in college made us jump in excitement.
"I have a great idea!" Deepti exclaimed with a mischievous grin which I knew wasn't good to see. "What do you have in mind?" I asked knowing this wasn't going to be good. "Let's take a bet" she said in excitement. "Hell no!" I yelled knowing fully well her bets were so weird and so wrong. "Keep your comments while I tell you what it entails" she stated and without waiting for my reply, she started rambling the details. Here it goes.
