but now people have perverted the Mobile Phones making it looks like a god to them . They use the mobile phone even when they are driving on a highway putting peoples lives at risk.

• Okay what’s life ?
• Life defined by Landau is a sense of worth which we may all derive in a different way-from relationships ,creativity, accomplishment in a given field , or generosity, among other possibilities but if you ask me what’s life I would say life is the ups and downs we face everyday , the broken hearts and the special moments we share with our loved ones . It might not sound good enough for you just as my father Mr. Cole Blackwell never liked the way I lived my life .
• My name is Barrack Blackwell and this is my story . I’m from a small town called Garden Town , we’ve been living here for the past 8 years . I lived with my little sister who’s called Jessy Blackwell , my mom Miranda Blackwell and my dad Cole Blackwell .
• It was always a special moment for me whenever we sit together at the dining table to enjoy our favorite African dishes .

• OUR PARENTS WORRIED ABOUT US.

• My parents works on weekdays and my sister and I leaves for school. I was in high school and my sister was in junior high school that’s grade 7. She had many friends and I became annoyed sometimes when she invites all her friends over for a Tiktok 1000 followers celebration .

• I would razzed her by saying these words just to make her sad to stop distracting me but they didn’t give a damn about my words .

• I uttered as I went to my room to continued playing my GOD OF WAR game on my Play Station. I would play until my wrist starts paining me , eye strain , back pains and my buttocks starts itching me like I’ve not bathe for two weeks. I was a game addict and spent not less than $500 on online game in a month . Though my parents didn’t like it , they always complained about my attitude of staying indoors but I always try to give them excuses .

• I would nodded my head as if I’ve taken the advice but when he comes again to call me in a loud voice I defended myself by saying ,

• “Judas lives on the street, I should go and socialize right” .

• Judas obstinate himself from the core values of our society which says no one should smoke , drink,steal,fight, and do money laundering but Judas who used to be my friend in Grade 5 turned the black sheep . After saying this my father became quiet and left my room .

THE CHANGES THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING .

“ What if I tell my father how much money Mark gets from Facebook, maybe that will calm his heart down “ .

I uttered these words as I looked down at Peace my dog pet , I was left alone with my thoughts .

On Saturday , during dinner I saw my parents chitchatting as Jessy and I was enjoying our jollof , in no time did my mother said ,

“now these are the new rules in this house

1. Phones can only be used on weekends.2. Use computers only for research works.

1. 3. We are disabling the WiFi in this house and if you want to use you should tell me “ .

“ So simple “.

Our dad backed her after my mum was done giving us the new rules but for us this was too much for us to bear ,

“mum , I’ve a duet to do tonight on TikTok with Casandra “,

said Jessy as she starred at our mother’s face thinking she might changed her mind but she didn’t even give her a look . I went to my room to continued e doing my research work , as I was busily typing I heard foot steps behind my door and when I turned over to look at the person coming , I saw my dad . I gave him a seat near the table where I was using my laptop to do my research work , after that he began to asked me questions about school and friends he said ,

“Barrack since you parted ways with Judas before getting into high school I hardly see you communicating to one of the boys in your class “ .

I replied ,

“ Yeah , Dad they are just too busy on weekends doing research works and after school there’s a part time job for them , so there isn’t time to intercommunicate Dad” .

“ Well sometimes we feel like we are good on our own and doesn’t need any company but that doesn’t help one to build up a creative mind , when you get one or two friends who are down for you on everything , you seee you achieve things , great things my son “ .

He spoke with a low voice trying to help me developed skills to build friendship with my mates .

“That’s true dad , what if one goes and gets snub I think if that person had manage his own business he could’ve escaped that “ .

I uttered, there I saw him mimicking and in no time he said,

“just as when I was your age and was in high school for the first time I was having less friends but there’s one thing my father , I meant your grandfather taught me which is BE YOU, do something that you are good at, do it with all your heart and nature itself will give you people who will love you for who you are and what you do , my son be you when you go to school”.

After the short communication he said goodnight.

LEARNING HOW TO SAY HI

On Monday , I did my best not to give much attention to my mobile phone as I wanted to try what my father taught me . I planned on how to socialize with my mates and I didn’t forget what my father told me ,“Be You” . Be You which literally means do something that you are good at and those who loves it will love you. I started by writing cheats on how to outplay your computer when you are playing arcade games with it.

Firstly, I took my jotter and wrote 20 cheats on it after which I pasted it on the board at the back of our class with the hashtag #seeme4more. I did this during breakfast time and after breakfast I saw some of my mates standing in front of the board which was placed at the back of our class asking each other if he or she knows this cheat or the other, after seeing this scene I move to my sitting place waiting for one of them to come to me and ask if I have the cheats for other games but unfortunately no one came as it was time for lessons to start.

On the next day, I drew Black Panther and pasted it on the board again . I overheard one of my mates saying,

“ game addict like a grade 6 kid “.

I looked back and it was Paulson, I did not mind him as I knew the purpose of what I was doing . During lunch, when I was seated with my sister at the shelter shub enjoying my snacks , a guy from our school athlete came to my table and asked ,

“ come and fly with me does it work in GTA 5?“

I replied,

“ Yeah .Try these ones pasted on the board too.”

After a very short conversation he introduced himself as Collins and we exchanged our contacts. On our way home I told my family about my new friend and they were all happy for me especially my mum.

Mum asked,

“ a boy or girl B-B? “

“hmm a girl ? maybe some other time, this is a bro“ .

I replied ,

“Good one for the brotherhood ,“

my dad added .

PLANS ON RECONNECTING OUR WIFI.

Collins and I became close friends and with this bond we shared our views together. Having Collins as a friend made me thought my mother would change her mind and reconnect our WiFi but her plans remained the same. She still thinks that Collins was just like me as my father thought me the “BE YOU” lesson which I used to get Collins as a friend, she believes if she gives us the WiFi back we will go back to the old days and try to speak to each other through WhatsApp and other social media platforms that she dislikes.

• The mobile phone with its communication services has help us in many ways by helping us to connect with
• families miles away and even making learning simple these days. Sometimes I pray my mom will come across these pros of using mobile devices.

• I asked Collins ,

• “And what can I do to make other parents understand that we’ve been using the laptop for a better purpose despite that others misuse it till it becomes their god “

• He replied,
• 
  
• “I’ve met many people at the bus station and even in stadium, families there communicate through these mobile devices which develops poor communication skills. You will see three friends sitting on the same desk but you won’t hear a word from them because everyone is busily typing on his or her keyboard. Which is really bad and your mother is right if she is against it.“

• He then added,

• “ why don’t you write an article about the importance of using the computers and then publish it on your Facebook account so that others can share their views , I believe when your mother sees this she might change her mind and reconnect your WiFi “.

• I asked,

• “Would that help ?“

• In no time did he bring a paper and started jotting down some of the importance of computers. I took the paper to read through after he was done .I indite some points too. One of my favorite points was ,

• “ I used to be a game addict and my parents didn’t like the way I lived my life, they were worried and I thought they just don’t wanna see me happy. It got to a time they seized my laptop and disconnected the WiFi in my room. At first, I didn’t like how they were treating me but after some days, I was able to socialize and had a new friend called Collins. To tell you the truth I didn’t know how to socialize with people after I became a slave to this little god but after my father taught me some lessons I was able to socialise.“

• “ I met this new guy in school and I’ve learnt something new from him, do you guys know that the moment you switched on your WiFi or cellular network someone starts getting money ? . So family how have you plan to also get paid by using the same internet, you’ve bills to pay, fees to pay, you can make $1000 from the internet and use it to pay some bills to pull down your burden. THE MISSION.

After jotting these words down , it became a problem for us on how to answer the questions netizens would ask after reading our article . Though the internet pays but how can one start making money . We couldn’t post our article as we didn’t have the answers to questions netizens would asked , so there was a need for us to get a plan B .

Collins asked,

“How do we answer their questions when we don’t even have a YouTube account ?”

I replied ,

“ I don’t know , but my sister .”

“Your sister ?”

Collins asked ,

“Yeah she was a Tiktoker before our parents disconnected our WiFi, I think she can help us “.

I uttered .

Now it seems our plan B was going to work , the plan B was to get my sister understand our article and the purpose of it . Jessy and her friends had a clue about how to get money online than Collins and I .

I invited Collins over on Saturday to discussed our mission with Jessy.

Collins came with his WiFi and his laptop to help us sign in and surf on the internet and search for answers to these questions netizens would asked . I asked him to come along with the WiFi because I knew my mom would changed the WiFi password when she sees Collins with a laptop.

The three of us met in my room to discussed about the article .

I asked Jessy ,

“ How does it work this Tiktok thing , does it pays?”

She replied,

“ Of course it does , but it takes two things “.

Collins asked ,

“And they are?”

Jessy added ,

“ viewers and content, the content you will create , you’ve to make sure it can cause traffic but others sign up to watch videos “.

Why will someone just go on Tiktok to stream other peoples videos for them to get richer whiles no one is streaming, sharing and liking their videos .

After she gave us the tips on how to get paid on Tiktok I got the whole idea and as a word to the wise is enough , there was no need for us to asked her about how YouTube pays because they are both entertaining platforms. We discussed our mission to Jessy and asked her to talk to her friends about it .

Online Surveys , Blogspot, Tiktok, YouTube ,Facebook are examples of social media platforms that one can use to earn money.

We planned on creating an instagram group where we can share ideas with those who would be interested in our mission .

A SUCCESSFUL MISSION .

On Monday during lunch time , Jessy gathered her friends , Kacie , Elsy , Tracy, Lily, Celine, Fatima, Joachim , Leonard , Steve, and Will . She started educating them about the purpose of this mission. They accepted to join our ride but our number wasn’t enough to make this article reach millions of people globally .

We made a Plan c on how to push our mission to make it reach thousands and this was the plan . We gave ourselves tasks that each and everyone of us should invite two friends to join our instagram group but before that Collins , Jessy and I taught the how to let others understand the purpose of this mission and goal of it.

The goal of the mission was ,

1. To educate parents on how to measure the number of hours their wards spend using a computer. Long use of computers affects our health and leads to addiction of computer games which makes students fail in their tests , because the same number of hours use for playing games can also be used for reading notes , texts books and research.
2. To educate people on how to make money online from partaking in answering online surveys, Google Adsense , YouTube and other media platforms .
3. To educate the people what it takes to make money from online . The Content, and how to gain traffic on your posts .
4. To share the story about My Little god to help change the way people use their computers and the effects it has on us . These were the first four major points we taught them .
