Just the beginning
Anna woke up, sweating and her head was pounding. Her hyperventilating slowed as she reeled back into reality, now understanding it was just a nightmare. She looked over at the clock across the room on her nightstand. 3:54 am. School started at 7:00 but knowing she wouldn’t be able to go to sleep she decided to wake up for the day. She was still anxious about the nightmare so she practically crawled out of bed. Stumbling over clothes and boxes she made it out of her bedroom. She headed downstairs and went to the kitchen. Anna was 16 but the nightmares had been taunting her since she was in 4th grade. Both of her parents had work at 3:00 in the morning. Her parents had very set-scheduled jobs, three to eight every day. Now Anna was in the kitchen getting water and some headache medicine. She swallowed the two pills and drank the rest of the water. She put the glass in the sink and started back upstairs. Even though she was exhausted she decided taking a shower would be nice. She grabbed a towel and put it on its respected hanger. She was about to hop in the shower, she noticed something, strange? Anna took a look through her window, getting a quick glance at the odd figure what looked like a tall faceless man. Anna quickly told herself to snap out of it. and sadly for Anna this was just the beginning.
