Interesting...

I think the author made the main character very well. I do feel sorry for her, and I love her quirkiness. You really do feel like you're in her head. The character aspect was done extremely well.

The writing style is smooth and flows nicely, I found no problems there. I also didn't see a whole lot of typos or errors.

Overall, for people who read this genre this could be just for them.

Nice Cover

The cover is nice, with lovely shades of pink. I've only read the first chapter or so. I think it could be made a bit more captivating, drawing the reader in more, and help them get to know the main character a bit more. However, it is interesting, especially that weird noise she hears. I don't read this sort of fiction very much, so I'm not sure my review is the most accurate one.

Too Bad

Unfortunately I don't think this story will continue, the author abandoned it for some reason. Too bad, it had the potential to be good.

Awesome!

I really enjoyed this book, but only problem is that the author never finished it. I hope that she sees this and continues on with it.

Nice

The cover of the book is utterly stunning and very beautiful, it is also fitting for what the book is about.

As for the story itself, it's a wonderful collection of little short stories picked and written to encourage people. It's quite enjoyable!

For constructive criticism I'd say the writing style and punctuation could be improved a bit. But other than that this was an enjoyable read.

A good idea.

The idea is a good one! Of how we can just conform to those around us, especially when we admire them, and then become just like them.

For constructive criticism I wish the story was long, and that paragraphs were inserted. It would make the reading easier.

Preserved in Ink

The title for this book is very creative and intriguing. As for the book itself, it's not really my cup of tea.

Quite frankly, I don't read this genre very often. It's just not my thing. With all that being said, the writing style is fine, and for those who do read this genre, I'm sure it'll do good. There's nothing really wrong with it, it just doesn't suit me :)

Good fun

I didn't win anything, and that's okay! It shows how competitive these awards were (I only write for fun on Inkitt, so I didn't enter my best work.) Also, love the title of the awards. The host was very polite and helpful, I hope she runs another awards sometime!

Good cover

I really like the cover for this book. The poem itself is relatable, not just for a breakup but for other areas of life where's there loss.

Poetry

When I first read through, I didn't know what it was a father who had left. When I read it again the second time, it had more impact now that I knew. Very sorrowful, as it's meant to be.

A Good Horse Story

Review

Alright, so I only read the first chapter but the book looks good. Some things that I liked:

1. The writing style, it was easy to follow and read.

2. The lovely characters, and the bond that is obviously shown between the husband and wife.

3. The general pleasantness that is felt. That is, it gives you that warm feeling of snuggling up with a cup of cocoa on a cold day.

Some things that I think could be improved:

1. A different book cover. It seems a little bland and doesn't really draw you in.

2. A faster start to the story, to draw you in, but at the same time, this helps set the background and gives you, as I mentioned above, a feeling of homeliness. You've got to find that balance.

3. Shorter chapters, or at least, a shorter first chapter. It just seems to keep going on and on, making you half feel like you need a break.

I'm really not sure what this is

I'm afraid to say this guy has a very warped view of God and salvation as the Bible tells it.

Interesting

The title draws you in, and so does the book cover. I hope the author goes on, but I'm not sure they will. The writing style could be improved a bit though.

Good Cover

The cover for the book is good, the horse on it is beautiful and it makes you want to click on it. However, the writing style of the story could be improved.

I also wish the story would continue, but I don't think it will. I think this is one of those stories on Inkitt that has been abandoned, sadly. If the author sees this I hope they will continue the story.

Awesome!

I liked it! It's so hard to find Christian books in general on this sight, much less Christian Fantasy, so this was a welcome surprise. I can't wait to read the other two books in the series.

Real

The character's feelings are real. I also really like their sarcasm! There does tend to be a bit of a information dump sometimes, and I would like the chapters to be longer, but over all, pretty good!:)

Interesting

For the first few chapters they're are many details missing, added a level of suspense. The plot so far has been interesting. Both hate each other, yet are forced to marry each other.

The writing style could be improved a little. There's a bit of an information dump in Chapter 3, but in a way that is helpful to understanding the story.

Only read the first few chapters

I've only read the first few chapters, but they were quite intriguing. In the prologue, when the girl was hiding, the author described her fear quite well. It was very tangible. What I think was the first chapter the pain and what was going on in her mind was also described brilliantly.

Just read the start, seemed alright

I just read the start, seemed like an alright story. I myself am not much of a romance type. But that's alright. I think, for those that are interested, this might make a good story.

A Nice Story

I would say that the author does know a good deal about horses, which was very nice because I could enjoy the story more without being bothered about the lack of horse knowledge. I think it was well written, a charming story. Personally I think the mare Honey may have become my favorite horse out of the whole deal. The ending was a bit predictable, but nice.

Decent

This is not the best story I've ever read, but I finished it despite how long it was. I wish that it had focused more on the horses then on the romance, but that's alright. The authors writing style could stand to be improved.

The plot you could kinda see coming, but still, that wasn't all bad. It was good to see Alexi's and Juilius's love come to fruition in marriage. The ending was very good, in my opinion.

What a good story!

This is a story of good men, who do their best to help others, and of good women, who also do the same. Their good character is very refreshing, and their love of work honorable. I enjoyed the story very much. I also really enjoyed how the main character, Durian, is not perfect, he is not flawless, but he tries his best.

Ah, a Wonderful Story about Horses

I loved it! I have not read the Lord of Rings series, but I didn't need to to understand this story. The gentleness of the elves in the way they handle horses is very beautiful.

Wonderful Story

This is quite a unusual story that I really liked reading. To be honest, I have never read Lord of the Rings, so I did not see any resemblance to it, and only knew that the author borrowed ideas from the Lord of the Rings because she said so.

I quite liked the two main characters of Sian and Legolas. Sian because she is tough and sturdy, but still has emotion. Legolas with his calm feeling demeanor I also liked.

But what I really liked about the story was the horses. I'm a big horse fan. I love how the gray filly can sense Legolas's every move and obeys him willingly.

A Book Review

This story has been very interesting. I really enjoy fantasy, and this story is very well written. I love the prologue beginning. It throws you into the midst of the excitement and suspense.

I also love the plot twist as to how the prince's sister is actually the descendant of a dragon as well. I also like the characters.
