Chapter 1
Y/n looked at herself in the mirror, these jeans fitted her a few months ago, now it was impossible to put them on. Korea has only one size in all their stores and Y/n doesn’t find that size. She ordered from online, but now it’s tight on her too.
She bent down and took out the scale from under her breath. She took a deep breath and stepped on the scale, only to see the number increasing.
“No,” She said while trying to stop herself from crying. While other girls were glowing during the summer time. She just gained more weight.
She took a sigh, there is absolutely nothing she can’t do right now, she needs to get ready for school. She got dressed in anything that still fit her.
She left her house without eating, so she decided to take a walk to school, even when his school is quite far from her house.
She was a little excited, as now that school has started, she will be able to see her crush again. She forgets everything when she looks at him.
She finally sees him, talking to his friends. Her heart melt as she saw his boxy smile,
How can someone be so perfect?
She can only admire him like this, there is no chance that she can be with him. So many girls were crushing on him, and some were really pretty and skinny.
Unlike other girls with small bodies, and small faces, Y/n had a chubby face, hiding all of her features, she had thick thighs, and a pudgy stomach, no matter what she wore, her pudgy stomach showed in every fit, she had wide hips and heavy breasts.
There is no way he would even look at such a girl.
He is perfect. Taehyung is the most handsome guy in the school. She felt ashamed of even liking him.
Her eyes met one of his friends, she was surprised, as she showed Jungkook give her a smile.
Did he smile at me? She thought, then shook her head, he must be smiling at someone else.
Jungkook is really handsome like Taehyung, for some reasons, Jungkook is more attractive sometimes.
Girls go crazy over them, why would he smile at Y/n. So it must be out of pity. She told herself.
“God, Y/n, for how long will you just stare at Taehyung?” Somi asked, she is Y/n best friend. And she is nothing compared to Y/n, Somi is really beautiful, and skinny. She is pretty famous for her looks.
“Somi, what else can I do?” She said sadly.
“At Least make a move. I can’t bear you just crushing on him.”
“That’s stupid Somi. Why would he be someone like me?” She said,
“Y/n, you don’t know how pretty you are! And try it at least, it’s our last year in school. You will regret it if you don’t confess now.” Somi said, the class bell rang.
Y/n went to her classroom, she stayed her things on the desk. “Is anyone sitting here?”
She looked up, and she can’t believe Jungkook is asking this. He wants to sit with Y/n?
“If not, can I?” He asked.
What is she thinking? Of course not. Why would he sit with her? She thought he must be bullying her.
She quickly stood up. “No one is sitting. You can sit.”
She thought he wanted her to leave that seat and she did. She stood up and in a hurry she fell on the floor. Making the whole class look at her, everyone started laughing.
Jungkook glared at the class, and everyone stopped laughing. He helped her stand up.She didn’t even look at who helped her take up, she just got up and ran out of the class.
Going to the washroom and closing the door. She started crying, she hurt her elbow. She looked at the washroom mirror and she looked at herself. She felt disgusting.
Y/n has a chubby body, but it looks cute and gives her a really cute anime type hourglass look. But Korea being a really health conscious country promotes health and fitness to an extreme level where it’s not healthy anymore and people develop eating disorders.
She opened the cabinet of the washroom, She put two fingers in her mouth going all the way she could. She developed an eating disorder too, bulimia,
She thought, Only if she wasn’t like this. Things would be different. If she was prettier, lighter, skinner.
She would be happier…..
She washed her face and left the bathroom, her throat was burning, she could feel pain in his chest.
Jungkook was waiting for her outside the bathroom. He felt like he was supposed to be there for her, she must have felt humiliation in case. But it wasn’t his goal. He just wanted to sit with her.
He saw her, Before he could say anything.
She fainted.

Y/n woke up in the nurse’s room, she Looked around and Somi was there. “Are you okay Y/n? Finally you woke up, I was so worried.”
“When was the last time you had a meal?” The nurse asked. Y/n looked down, she skipped dinner last night, and hasn’t eaten anything in the morning. But she has been purging every meal that she eats for the past week.
She wanted to lose weight before school started. But it didn’t work.
“This morning.” She lied. She is used to lying about eating now.
“You need to eat, blood pressure is low, that is why you fainted.” The nurse told her, Y/n nodded her head.
“Don’t worry, Y/n. It’s almost off time. For now eat this.” Somi exclaimed, feeding her food. She wanted to refuse. But Y/n knows she can’t say no to her.
“How did I end up?” Y/n asked, she can’t even imagine being embarrassed, there is no way anyone can lift her.
“I don’t know. Nurse just informed me.” Somi said. Y/N nodded her head. Someone must saw her unconscious and called the nurse. She didn’t think much about it.

After school, Somi brings her to eat street food. Somi looks so adorable while eating tteokbokki, how can some people look so pretty even while eating?
Her mouth was full of food, but she was looking adorable. There were a few boys at school that saw them and they stopped admiring how pretty Somi looked.
“Y/n, have some too.” She said,
“No, I don’t want to eat it.” Y/n said while playing with her sleeves, that is a lie. She wants to eat. But she just had lunch. She doesn’t want to eat more, she doesn’t want to gain more weight.
“It tastes so good, have it.” Somi said. Y/n gave up and started eating too.
She has always loved street food, and this particular dish was one of her favorites. She popped another piece into her mouth, savoring the heat and the flavor.
Unbeknownst to her, Jungkook was watching her from across the street. Jungkook was walking back home when he stopped to see Y/n. He was worried after she suddenly fainted. He wouldn’t have left Y/n alone in the nurse room but he had to attend his football practice.
He is glad to see she is alright now and eating well. She looks so happy while eating, she is just adorable. He sat there and just stared at her eating.
His heart raced as he admired her beauty and cuteness. He contented himself with watching her from afar, admiring her from a distance.
Then someone made a stupid remark.
“Stop eating pig.” One of her schoolmates commented. They think body shaming is cool? Jungkook was pissed.
“Gosh, you really need to take care of yourself and stop stuffing your face with food, you are turning into ugly fat rat. ” The other guy said and they high-fived each other while laughing.
The only ugly fat rat Jungkook can see here is these two guys. Jungkook noticed how her expression changed, she got sad and put the food down.
The guys left walking back to their home, laughing and talking to each other, still making fun of Y/n, talking about how much they hate fat girls. They just ruined a day of the girl who was just enjoying her meal.
They stopped as someone stopped their way in a dark alley.
They looked at Jungkook.They know Jungkook, he is quite famous in school because of being on the soccer team.
“What are you laughing at? I want to know too. Come on, don’t be shy.” Jungkook put his arm over their shoulder.
