Chapter 1

In the woods far far away is a mansion. But not just any mansion... A Haunted Mansion.

One day John and Martha decided to explore the mansion but Dylan disagrees.

"It's too scary!" He said.

Morgan barked in agreement.

"Well you two don't have to come if you don't want to."John said.

So John and Martha start walking towards the mansion. Soon after Morgan got scared and ran to catch up with them. Dylan on the other hand still thought it was a bad idea.

So Dylan stood outside and waited with crossed arms. Soon though he was thinking about how much more dangerous it would be to stand alone outside. So he got up the nerve to run towards the others.

"Wait for me!" He said in between gasps.

"We thought you would change your mind." Martha laughed.

"Yeah yeah let's just go inside."Dylan said while rolling his eyes.

As soon as Dylan steps inside the door slams behind.

Dylan turns around and sees a dark figure looming over the door then disappears. Dylan whips back round toward the others. They weren't paying any attention to the door.

"Did you guys not see that?!"

Dylan said.

"See what?"Martha asks.

"Well first the door slams and second there was a shadow."

"OK well we thought you slammed the door and we never saw the shadow."

"I knew it was a bad idea coming here."Dylan murmured.

"Oh yeah well did not have to come." John said suddenly angry.
