(Mikasa's Pov)

'Hey! don't tease me?' I said. 'Please! do my homework this time i won't bother you next time promise' Noah said as he joined both of his hands and pleaded in front of me. 'Look, you say the same thing every time. I know that you are my ten year old friend, it does not mean that I am your servant' I said. Hello guys, I am Mikasa. I am fourteen years old. And this is my childhood friend Noah who makes me do his homework every time. Noah has lived in my neighborhood for ten years. Right now my life is going well but when I turn twenty, I will have to find my mate. I don't want these six years to pass. Because the world in which I live is a rule that people of our world have to marry their mate. If they break this rule and marry a person of their choice, then they get punished. Let me tell you one thing. I am not a simple human. I belong to the Beta family. My father is dead and he was the king of Beta. And I'm my dad's only heir. Because if I am a girl, then many people do not want me to handle the throne of my dad. I'm not interested in it myself. And I'll ever love someone, it can never happen. People tell me you don't know what is the power of the Beta's throne.The only friend I have made in these ten years is Noah. I don't love Noah but I would like to be with him. The school's last bell rang. I searched for Noah but couldn't find him in school, so I was going home alone. Then I saw a big truck parked near Noah's house. I ran and stood near his house, but my mother was also standing there. My mother and Noah's mother were crying. I saw their household items being kept in the truck. 'I didn't know Noah's Dad's urgent transfer would be to New York' Noah's Mother sobbed. 'You will always be my best friend, just take care of yourself' My mom said as she hugged my aunt. My mother noticed me and said 'you have come'. I was feeling so bad now I will be completely alone. 'Noah, didn't come with you?' Aunt asked. 'I didn't find Noah, I thought he must have reached home before me' I replied sadly. 'Now it's time to go and I had also called this boy to come soon, I don't know where he must have gone' Aunt said as she put a hand on her head. 'Aunt, I know where he would have gone,' I said while running back to school. Whenever he was sad, I knew where he went. There was a house near my school where no one lived. Whenever Noah and I were sad, we used to come here. I went to that house and it showed me Noah who was sitting in one corner of the room and crying. I put my hand on his shoulder, he looked at me. 'Don't cry ,Noah' I said as 'But I want you to go from here and when you come back then come as a big businessman' I said. 'But-' He said. 'You have to promise me, If you fulfill my promise then I will definitely fulfill one of your wishes' I said. 'Ok I'll promise' He said as he hugged me. Then we both came back home. Noah and his family were ready to go. Before Noah got in the car, I gave him my favorite bracelet. He smiled at me. He got into his car and the car started, he got out his head from the moving car's window and waved his hand till he went away from me. My eyes filled with tears. I hugged my mom.

(After Six year later)

(Mikasa’s pov)

‘Loser ! The loser’ whole class screamed while pointing their finger at me. Their laugh was tearing me up from inside. I can’t tolerate it anymore. I want to die. I stood up while banging my hands on the table which made them silent. I ran away from there. My tears are running down from my eyes to my cheeks. Why are all these people after me? What have I done?

I was standing on the boundary of the roof. Just die mikasa, no one loves you. Not even your parents. I closed my eyes and was about to jump but someone held my hand from behind. I turned back to see who had dared to stop me. There was a guy whose face was covered with a mask. I couldn’t see his face, I could only see his blue eyes. ‘Who the hec-’ I was about to complete my words but he pulled me towards him. I fell on him. ‘You have to live. Because you are special to me’ he whispered in my ears.

‘Hey, what are you doing here? Go back to your class’ My math’s teacher yelled. I went back to the classroom to face those people again. I entered the class and sat on my seat. ‘Hey you slut, look over here’ Someone said from behind. It’s Derek. He gave him death glare. I don’t know but I was feeling as if a strange power had been activated inside me. I stood up and slapped Derek on his face. The sound of slap spread throughout the class so that everyone started looking at both of us. What did I do? I just slapped a guy. ‘How did you dare to slap me?’ He said furiously. ‘You are the first who calls me slut. Who gave the right to call me something like that?’ I yelled. ‘I won’t spare you today,’ he said. He was about to hit me but I grabbed his hand and jerked it hard. He screamed in pain. ‘Where did this loser get so much power?’ One of the girls said. I gave her a devilish stare. I smirked and I said ‘you wanna try to check my power, Rose’.

‘No! no, just forgive me. I was wrong,’ She pleaded in front of me. ‘Please leave my hand’ Derek said. I freed his hand from my grip. I gave an evil grin. Everyone stared at me scaredly. My grin was wide, though my eyes darkened in pent up anger. ‘If after today someone tries to do anything bad with me, then what will happen to him/her, God does not know’ I said as I He replied ‘do you want to avenge your brother’s death?’. I said angrily ‘my brother is not dead, how dare you say all this kind of creep. Whoever you are, come in front of me’. As soon as he came in front of me, his body started shining. When I looked carefully, I was surprised that he was the one who had stopped me from committing suicide. ‘You’re the one who stopped me from dying?’ I asked. ‘Yes, you are right but it doesn’t matter at this time’ He said. ‘Do you know who were those people who killed my brother?’ I asked while tears fell down from my cheeks. ‘I can’t tell you anything here right now, first we have to leave from there’ He said. I just wanted to know who was behind this who ‘killed my brother’ I said as I banged my head against the wall. ‘I forbid you not to hurt yourself. Forget it if you want to avenge your brother like this’ He yelled. ‘Sorry,’ I said. ‘By the way, blood is coming out of your head’ He said. He took out his handkerchief from nowhere but I didn’t know where and tied it on my head. ‘You come all the time to protect me then why didn’t you come when they killed my brother’ I asked. ‘You ask a lot of questions. If you walk quietly with me, you will be able to survive’ He said, putting a finger on my mouth. Now I just have to rely on him because I didn’t know the way out of here. Then he said ‘don’t worry I know the way out of here’. Can he hear my mind too? ‘Yes, I can. Now hold my hand and let’s go’ He said. I held his hand. ‘Close your eyes, weirdo’ He said. ‘Hey, my name is Misaka, you punk’ I said annoyingly. ‘I already knew that,’ He said. ‘What’s your name?’ I asked. ‘My name is Eren and would you please close your eyes now’ He said. I closed my eyes and the next moment I was in my bed it means it was a dream. I saw the time, I was already late, I got up quickly and hurriedly reached the college. While walking on the road, I was wondering if that dream could come true.

(Mikasa’s pov)

Now I am a Second year Medical student at Bright Future University. I hardly made a friend whose name was Sindra. Now I am Twenty, and I’ll have to find my mate even if I don’t want to. Now you must be thinking, how do we find our mate? We have a birthmark on our wrist which glows when your mate is around you. If I find my mate unfortunately then I have to live with him because that’s the law. I was taking out my books from the locker. Still wondering about my dream. Did I really have a brother? As far back as I can remember I was the only child of my parents. Somebody came from behind and covered my eyes with his/her hands. ‘Stop playing Sindra’ I said without any expression on my face. ‘How do you know every time it’s me?’ she asked while pouting. ‘Are you forgetting I am the wolf of Beta’s family?’ I said. ‘Oh! I see, that’s why you are amazing’ She said. I chuckled. ‘Don’t you think that you should find your mate?’ Sindra said. ‘Have you found your mate?’ I asked. ‘Not yet, But very soon I will find him, even then I have been looking for him but you do not even think about your mate’ She said. Just as I thought Wen was going to pass out, Eren suddenly let go of him and dropped him on the ground. Wen coughed and gasped for air, while Eren turned around and walked back to his seat.

The teacher came rushing over, her face full of anger. “What just happened here?” she demanded, looking at Wen, Eren, and me.

Wen quickly pointed at Eren. “He tried to kill me, Miss. He choked me and wouldn’t let go,” he lied, his voice hoarse.

The teacher turned to Eren, her eyes flashing with fury. “Is this true, Eren?” she asked sternly.

Eren didn’t say anything, but his face was filled with anger and frustration. I could tell he was holding back his emotions.

“He’s lying, Miss. Wen was harassing me, and I warned him to stop. He started to attack me, and I defended myself,” I spoke up, trying to explain what had happened.

The teacher looked at me skeptically, but then she looked at Wen and noticed the red marks on his neck. “This is unacceptable behavior, Eren. You will be punished severely for this,” she said, her tone final.

Eren just nodded, his jaw clenched tight. I could tell he was seething with anger and frustration, but he didn’t say a word.

The rest of the class went by in a blur, with everyone talking about what had happened. Sindra was still trembling beside me, and I tried to comfort her.

“Don’t worry, Sindra. We’ll figure this out,” I said, putting my arm around her.

She looked up at me, her eyes wide with fear. “What if Eren really is dangerous, Mikasa? What if he hurts someone else?” she asked, her voice shaking.

“I don’t know, Sindra. But we have to be careful,” I replied, my mind racing with thoughts and emotions. I didn’t know what was going to happen next, but I knew that everything had changed.
