Amora Morris is all grown up. She has a veterinarian degree, a life plan, and the love and support of her family. Moving back to her home town to open her own large-animal vet clinic, she planned to partner with the local small-animal vet. She wasn’t aware of the stipulations assigned to partnering with the aging vet; stipulations that include working side-by-side with Fletcher Hampton, the man’s spoiled, overbearing, arrogant grandson.
Fletcher Hampton had 3 things going for him: his looks, his smarts, and a seemingly endless stream of girls more than willing to stay just friends with benefits. When he agreed to move home to spend time with his aging grandfather, and learn the family business through experience rather than what he learned in vet-lab, it was a shock to learn he’d be working with the only girl to ever capture his attention for anything more than meaningless sex. Hell, he might even consider her the one that got away.
Can Fletcher prove to Amora that he really is a changed man, focused on his career and out to win her heart for good? Or will she let all her previously drawn assumptions keep her from loving the only man to ever slip through the iron clad walls around her heart?
