Chapter 1: The Beginning of Everything
Taylor Swifts' POV
I had put on a simple gray T-shirt that had the logo of the movie's fictional high school, a pair of red shorts that barely covered my legs, and some sneakers. I was playing the role of Felicia, Taylor's love interest, in a romantic comedy called Valentine's Day.
I felt a surge of anxiety as I waited for the director to call "action". I was a singer, not an actress. What if I made a mistake? What if I made a fool of myself in front of Taylor Lautner, the most handsome and popular guy in Hollywood?
"Taylor, I'm really nervous about this scene. I've never acted before, let alone in a movie." I whispered to him, feeling my heart race.
"Don't be nervous, you'll do great!" Taylor reassured me, flashing me his irresistible smile.
"Taylor, there's a phone call for you." A man who looked like Taylor's personal assistant interrupted us, walking towards us from the side.
"Sorry, I have to take this. I'll be back soon." He apologized, giving me another smile and heading to his trailer.
I decided to use this opportunity to call my best friend from high school, Abigail, for some encouragement before we started shooting. She always knew how to make me feel better.
"Hi, Abby! I miss you so much.. how are you doing?" I said, as soon as she picked up.
"I miss you too, Tay. I'm doing well. I'm actually preparing for a swim meet tomorrow, so I'm just relaxing at home. What about you?" She answered.
"I'm doing well, too. Well, kind of. I actually need some help from you.." I admitted, hesitating.
"Help? From me? That's hilarious. You're Taylor Swift! The one who inspires millions of girls all over the world with your songs." She joked.
"Stop it, you're making me blush. But seriously, I do need some. You know, I'm in this movie called Valentine's Day, and I'm really scared, so I thought I'd call you for a confidence boost. Oh, and did I mention that Taylor Lautner, the super hot werewolf from Twilight, is playing my boyfriend?" I blurted out.
"Wow, Tay! That's incredible! You're living the dream, girl!" She exclaimed.
"Thanks, Abby. But I'm also freaking out. I don't know how to act. I don't know what to say. I don't know how to be his girlfriend." I said, panicking.
"Hey, hey, calm down, Tay. You can do this. You're a natural. You're talented. You're beautiful. You're smart. You're funny. Just be yourself, and you'll be fine. Don't overthink it, Tay. Just pretend it's real life. Don't try to be someone you're not, because that's when it looks fake. And I don't want to go to the movies with my best friend, if it's going to suck." Abigail said, making me laugh.
"Ok, ok. I get it. I'll do my best. Thanks, Abby. You're the best. I'll call you later to tell you how it went." I said, feeling more confident.
"Actually, make it tomorrow. I have a swim meet, remember? And I need to get some sleep." She reminded me.
"Right, right. Sorry. Well, good luck with your swim meet, Abby. I'm sure you'll do great. And I'll talk to you tomorrow. Love you." I said.
"Love you too, Tay. And good luck with your movie. You'll be amazing." She said, before hanging up.
I sighed, feeling a mix of emotions. I missed Abigail so much. We used to do everything together, but now we were both busy with our own lives. She was pursuing her passion for journalism, and I was following my dreams of music. I was proud of her, but I also wished we could spend more time together. I hoped we would always be friends, no matter what.

Taylor Lautners' POV
"Hey!" I greeted her with a bright smile, feeling a surge of excitement as I spotted her.
She was the main reason I had agreed to star in this movie. She was the one who made my heart flutter every time I saw her on the screen. She was the one I wanted to get to know better.
"Hey.." She responded, but her tone was flat. Her voice was like a sweet song, but I could sense something was troubling her.
"What's the matter?" I asked, with genuine concern. I wished I could make her happy, to see her smile. I hoped to be her friend, or maybe something more.
"It's nothing, really. It's just that I miss my friend from high school. We hardly ever talk anymore. She's always busy." She explained, looking down.
She had a friend from high school? I wondered who it was. Was it a guy? Did she have a boyfriend? I felt a twinge of jealousy.
I closed the gap between us and wrapped my arms around her. I hoped she didn't mind, but I wanted to comfort her. I felt her body stiffen, then relax in my embrace.
I leaned back and said, "Well, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here. I'm sure we'll have a lot of time after shooting.."
"Thanks." She said, flashing me a brilliant smile. Her teeth were flawless. I was captivated by her smile.
Our managers came over and told us that Gary Marshall, the director for this movie, was ready for us. We both nodded and walked to the location where the scene would be filmed. It was at a school track field, where the camera, crew and actors were waiting. We were playing two teenagers who were experiencing the freshness of new love and have agreed to abstinence.
"Ok, guys. First we are going to film the scene where Taylor is dancing with the interviewer, then we'll get a quick shot of Taylor jumping over the hurdles, but you have to trip on the last one. Ok?" The director instructed.
"Um.." She said.
"What?" The director asked.
"I don't think I can jump over any hurdles. I'm a singer, not an athlete!" She said, chuckling. Her laugh was like a symphony, and I joined her.
"What?.. Oh sorry! We need nicknames for you guys! Lautner, you'll stay Taylor. Swift, what do you want as your nickname?" The director said.
"Uh, Swiftie is fine. That's what my fans call themselves, so you know.. that works." She said.
"Aww how adorable. She has a nickname for her fans!" I teased her. She playfully hit my arm and we walked to our positions.
