What is your opinion?

Right in the Feels

"I loved this book so much. If you want a book with great characters and character interactions, this is it. Arthur's personality shined through even though all we saw of him were his journal entries. He will forever be my favorite. I loved Eve as the main character and how her grieving was portrayed. Loved this book overall and am glad I picked it up!"

The Death Diary

"I was touched by this tale of grief and renewal. Jeri and Cash had affected Arthur in ways they knew nothing about. Reading Arthur's journal helps Eve find the closure she's looking for. Eve doesn't share the entries that were written for her, as if they were too personal to share. I believe one reason Arthur died was that he never stopped blaming himself for Olivia's death. Therefore he could never stop grieving. Let's hope Eve does better.🌹"

captivating

"I myself have a hard time finding new books to enjoy because I need it to grab me from the get go and not let go. The Death Diary did just that. it plays on the emotions we've all dealt with in losing a loved one that always seems too soon for reasons we don't understand. This is a beautiful book."

Fantastic

"This was a great book that brings forward feelings for me. I felt this girl's anger, sadness, and denial of her brother's death. I have felt similar things after my grandmother died. I did not read the dream she had because I could tell where it was going. I didn't read certain parts because of how close to home those feelings hit. Overall, it is a fantastic book. I could read this constantly."

A Refreshing New Voice

"I read Ezekiel Tracy's _The Death Diary_ in one breathless sitting. It's impossible to not be captivated by Tracy's insight and empathy into the grieving process and what it means to be the one left behind. He tackles an incredibly difficult and emotionally wrought situation with a quiet exploration and sensitivity, unlike the dramatic sensationalism pervasive in other Young Adult novels focused on suicide. His narrative voice is refreshing--sincere and engaging with a light touch of humor and an honesty that gently, but surely opens the floodgates of tears. I highly recommend _The Death Diary_ and look forward to reading more from this promising new author."

A must read

"I found myself crying on my porch unable to put this book down. It was a very relatable story with a great plot that keeps drawing the reader in. Everyone experiences loss in some way which is why this book is so relatable, the author is able to convey feelings a lot of people can't when going through hard times, but as soon as you read it, you recognize the similar feeling. A new favorite that will always be on my shelf. "
