Part 1
Everything was in the haze, with everyone running here and there, the sirens of police and ambulance ranging with the maximum volume. Yes, a man was found lifeless in his own house. Inspector Vikrant, the IPS of the city, Dhule was in charge of the mysterious case. This was definitely a high profile case, because Maharashtra lost its home minister in one night, Baljeet Khurana. "Sahab was alright last night when I left the house at 9.45" claims the maid of the house, Rekha. Vikrant was investigating the crime very closely and meanwhile his team was questioning the neighbours and everyone related to Baljeet Khurana. Suddenly a man, aged 21 comes running and is stopped at the entrance by the police, claiming to be the son of Mr. Baljeet and cried loudly after seeing his father on the floor. Vikrant looks up and goes near him and asks "Where were you all night?" . "Sir, I was at my friend's house and got a call this morning from my father's assistant, Anand." replies Aditya and again starts crying. Vikrant nods slightly, and moves back, near the body and says "He is stabbed right on the heart and the murder weapon is missing. Everything in the house is in place, that means no fighting has happened. This shows that Mr. Baljeet might know the person. Hmm.. Send the body for postmortem and collect all the evidence from the scene." Orders Vikrant and leaves. While Vikrant was moving out of the house, he suddenly remembered something was on the t-shirt of the body. He turns back and goes near the body and sees there is a small piece of paper near the wound he opens the chit and a note on it shocks him. It said
“This is just the beginning of it, sir! 😉”
"Someone is definitely challenging me or the police force." Vikrant asks the forensic team to collect the chit also as evidence and moves out of the crime scene.
