Summary

Enlightened Mates isn't just a collection of poems-it's a journey into the raw, unfiltered thoughts that make us who we are. It's about those moments when everything inside you feels like it's colliding, but somehow, you keep moving forward. This is for the ones who've loved and lost, for the ones who've been broken and rebuilt, and for the ones who can't shake off the voices in their heads. It's messy, it's chaotic, and sometimes it's hard to look at. But each word here is a reflection of something real. So, dive in, but don't say I didn't warn you-it's not always pretty, but it's always honest.

Loner

I remember when I first went to school,

Faces stared, making me feel like a fool.

Elegant girls and funny boys trying to look cool

To me, they seemed like the real fools.

In the assembly line,

Standing in the middle, but pushed fine

While the whimsical shorties stood behind,

Trying to catch the teacher’s gestures, kind.

I was, am, and always will be the loner,

Not finding a true mate any time sooner.

Why always me being the perfect?

While the others have their own sect.

Years passed and I’m finally together,

Or is it just a moment to gather?

My feelings are always wrong

But why do they prove to be so strong?

When someone true enlightens my way,

And with a tiny flaw tears away.

Leaving me as they say,

Always the loner with a long day.......
