Chapter 1
Singapore at night is a city of lights. From the shimmering skyline to the neon-lit streets, it’s easy to forget what lies in the shadows. But in the quiet corners, away from the bustling city center, there are places that seem forgotten—places where the lights flicker, and the air feels heavier.
One such place is Blk 345, an old, aging HDB block that stands at the edge of the city’s heart. In the daylight, it’s just another nondescript building, blending into the landscape of identical high-rises. But after dark, things change. The corridors feel longer, the shadows darker, and the echoes of footsteps linger just a little too long.
There’s a flat in this block that no one talks about. No one lives there. At least, no one living.
