PROLOGUE
Mick and Colleen after being double crossed by the IRA and left for dead visit an old friend.
Shocked and overwhelmed that they are alive, Molly takes them in and learns their troubles.
Molly has been living in Greenland for many a year, the IRA set her up there after her loyal services to the cause, she was the safe house for all the couriers who passed through, Molly introduced Mick and Colleen to the local father who was also placed there for his services too, Father Murphy was not the father he’s supposed to be, Mick and Colleen soon found out, there was another friend on the island named Pat, Patricia who ran the closest pub in the area.
She was also put there on Greenland for her services to the cause, she had another job, eyes and years for the IRA in that area, Michael had a past with Patricia that Colleen did not know about, that’s what Mick thought and hoped anyway.
Mick and Colleen still had the diamonds that they were couriering before they were double crossed by the crooked ship’s captain, paid off by certain heads of the IRA, Mick and Colleen were to learn this later from Molly.
Mick and Colleen stayed low with Molly until they were discover, ratted out by father Murphy who had his own reasons and wanted a new roof for his church,
Members from the IRA came in search for Mick and Colleen,
Molly was killed then all hell broke loose, Mick and Colleen fought of the uninvited visitors, more came and they lost too,
Father Murphy is ordered to hold them until the top heads arrived and sorted things out,
Mick and Colleen had other plans,
A battle breaks out in the church, the father leaks out the whole truth and more, IRA reinforcements arrive and the battle carried on,
Father Murphy meets his death and so does Colleen,
Pat from the pub comes to help Michael once again,
Patricia and Michael get bashed up fighting off the IRA enforcers; the two of them get the better hand in the end and rid of them all.
The two of them escape on the boat the IRA arrived in,
another battle emerges at sea when another IRA boat appears, they get away just about, they have all the diamonds and sail off to another country.
Mick and Pat rekindle their past relationships and mourn Colleen;
Mick makes a promise to himself to visit her grave that he set up on the island before they left.
Mick manages to sell the diamonds and the two of them are very well off,
Michael manages to contact the IRA supporter somewhere in Canada / South Africa,
he is the one with the diamond mine and the one supplying the IRA with the dirty diamonds,
Mick racks up another deal to bring a load more back to Ireland, the IRA supporter thinks Mick is with the IRA still,
Set up for life, Mick and Pat sail around on their high-class yacht,
they have their own crew who are loyal to them, Mick and Pat no longer exist, Mick arranged to this with the help of some old friends that owed favours.
Mick learns of news that Pats long done son is still alive back in Ireland somewhere under the IRA cloud,
Pat tells Mick a few more things about their seedy past that deeply shocks him,
Decisions are made to pay one last visit to Northern Ireland,
Someone needs to be found, some unanswered questions need to be answered, a bit of tidying up that Mick wants to do and most of all the final revenge before they disappear forever.
