Twitch's POV (Graveyard)
"(Unknown) I don't think I can do this and I don't think this is a good idea! Maybe...maybe there's another way" I pleaded trying to reason with her. I knew there was no way this plan would work, especially when she was going in there with him. I begged her not to accept his offer, it was a terrible idea but she just wouldn't listen. She was sure that the plan would work. I was the one second guessing. "I can't save them without you and I-i can't face her!", I tried reasoning with her one last time, hoping she could see the worry and anguish in my eyes. Staring back into her hazel brown orbs, I could see that she was standing firm on us going through with this plan-with our plan.
"Listen to me twitch, you can do this! I trust you. Everything will be fine as long as you get her to remember before she finds it. Once she remembers, you are to bring her back to the gates. I should be just about done with my part of the plan by then. They'll be trying to get to her as well, i'll be distracting that monster but it's your job to keep them away. You mustn't let ANYTHING stop you from getting her memory back! Do you understand?" Half whispering she looked at me worriedly and teary eyed. Anxiously scanning the perimeter, making sure no one was listening.
A shiver ran down my spine, feeling it all the way in my toes, that had me even more unsettled. Even though I was already cold and lifeless, a sinister chill creeped upon me. A low malicious laugh sounded from the shadowy darkness, laced with fog, closing in on us as if we've encountered the boogeyman himself. I assure you this was something far-far worse. "Hurry! He's coming, take the key and go before he sees you!" She rushed. "(Unknown)" I turned, calling out to her before leaving, "Uh-I... just... just don't get any less dead, okay?", was all I could manage. She offered me a half smile, then I ran...
Primette's POV (Cemetery)
I knew he was here. I could feel him. Watching, analyzing me from the darkness, daring me to run or to call out for help. He was taunting me, teasing me! I stood trembling in terror, in the middle of his mausoleum. There were cobwebs filled with torn spiders, dust that could just as well be ashes, and bones; black bones. What was even worse was the smell of it. It smelled of death and bloodshed.
His nails scrape the cement walls, bones crumbling beneath his feet with every step he takes. An ear-splitting moan like gasp laced the darkness. The scraping intensified with every step closer he took. I couldn't tell exactly where he was coming from, to me, he was darkness itself. "Mmm, Primette", he made sure to annunciate, to say every syllable. "Or should I say Daisy" His voice snobby, as if to antagonize me any further. "How do you- What do you want from me?", I couldn't stop my voice from breaking slightly, still sounding a bit petulant. "And here I was told you were smart enough to have it figured out by now" He laughed rhetorically, a snarky tone. The accent, it's always that accent that makes him sound even more, alluring? Even though he terrified me, something about him intrigued me. I've been told I have zero survival instincts. I beg to differ."Do you know who I am, little girl?" Still trying to locate his voice in the darkness I stood in the center of the room twisting and turning, trying hopelessly to eliminate his element of surprise. "I don't care who you are! I only care that you try to hurt my family, the people I care about." Successfully being able to keep my voice steady, trying not to show how terrified I was. Although I knew, that he knew, I was afraid. "How sweet, you came here to protect them", he scoffed, the words coming off of his tongue bitter and insincere, dripping with acid to express his disgust.
Then I heard it again, the scrapping, the sounds of bones crushing under his feet, that bloodcurdling groan. This time it was coming directly from in front of me. I felt like a deer in headlights or a lamb that walked into a lions den. That would more suffice. I was frozen, I couldn't move and somehow I knew it was him doing this to me. The anticipation was getting stronger with every step he took towards the dim lighting. But, just before he stepped fully into the light a flock of black ravens came and circled around me in a spiral manor, causing me to let out a strangled scream. Holding my hands up in a defensive manor to shield my body and face until it stopped.
When the flock descended I quickly scanned my perimeter, twisting and turning, but there was no sign of him. Suddenly, a shiver ran down my spine and smoke laced my breath indicating that the temperature had indeed dropped. But, then again that could’ve been the goosebumps. Turning slowly, slightly trembling, he was there. I couldn't help but scream. "AHHHHH!"....
Before I continue any further, I want you to know my story or at least part of it. As you know, there are three parts to every story. I can't start from the very beginning of my life, that'd just be too long, but I can start from the part where it all began. For me at least...
