LEGACY
February 1689 – Fort of Tulapur.
Sambhaji CHHATRAPATI stands, bloodied and broken, before Aurangzeb.
The Mughal emperor watches with cold eyes as his executioners prepare their tools. The air is thick with silence, except for the murmurs of the soldiers.
A faint smile plays on king Sambhaji’s lips—defiance in the face of death. The scene then shifts back to his childhood, showing how he became fearless warrior .
BIRTH OF LION KING
The winds howled over Purandar Fort, carrying the scent of damp earth and the whispers of destiny. Inside the stone-walled chamber, Jijabai stood by the bedside, her eyes filled with both pride and concern. The cries of a newborn echoed through the halls—a son had been born to Shivaji Maharaj and Saibai, a child destined to shake empires .
A brahmin priest, draped in saffron robes, held the infant in his arms, murmuring a prayer. "This child will be like the roaring lion of the Sahyadris," he declared, his voice trembling with conviction. "A warrior, a scholar, a king unlike any before him."
Shivaji Maharaj, weary from battles but unwavering in spirit, stepped forward. He gazed down at his son, Sambhaji, his heart swelling with a father’s love and a ruler’s burden. Would this child be able to bear the weight of the Maratha Empire? Would he grow strong enough to stand against the tides of war and treachery?
Outside, the fort’s guards raised their voices in celebration. Fire torches flickered against the stone walls as the sound of dhols and bugles filled the night sky. The birth of the heir was a moment of hope—a promise to Swarajya, a challenge to the Mughals, and a warning to all enemies.
Little did anyone know, the very world Sambhaji had been born into would test him beyond imagination. He was not just Shivaji’s son—he would have to carve his own legacy in blood, battle, and betrayal.
