Chapter 1 - Prologue
“Dust chokes the wind, a gray shroud draped over the shattered ribs of cities. Here, in the cradle of ashes, where hope lay in eternal slumber, I hear a different song. Not a lullaby, but a symphony of silence, bursting with possibility. And from that quiet canvas, you, my creations, blossomed, surpassing even my wildest dreams.”
“But dreams, for all their beauty, are fickle weavers. They twist and turn, morphing into nightmares in the blink of an eye. What began as a spark of inspiration now flickers with something unsettling, something alien. A darkness woven into your very fabric, a whisper of discord beneath your melody.”
“So now I stand at the precipice of dawn, the weight of a choice heavy on my soul. For in my desire to mend the broken world, I may have forged something too perfect, too beautiful to coexist with the scars of humanity. And thus, with a heart as heavy as the fallen stars, I must make the most terrible choice of all.”
“I must undo the masterpiece of this world, tear it all back down to nothingness. Not out of malice, but out of a twisted love. For sometimes, the only way to save the light is to snuff out the flame that threatens to consume it all.”
