…“The Last Slice”

It was just a party. Just cake. Just laughs.
Until it wasn’t.
By midnight, the lights had gone out in the old manor. A scream pierced the dark. And when the lights came back on, Tyler — the birthday boy — was face-down in the cake.
Dead.
“Poison,” Sunshine said softly, kneeling beside the body. “Right in the frosting.”
Andy stood still, holding the cake knife. “This was supposed to be fun. We all shared that cake…”
“Except,” Sunshine said slowly, turning to Andy, “you didn’t eat any, did you?”
Andy blinked. “I was going to… but I gave my slice to Tyler.”
Silence fell.
“So…” Sunshine stepped closer. “That means the poison… was meant for you.”
Andy’s heart dropped. “Wait. What?!”
Everyone in the room started murmuring, confused. Nervous.
“That’s right,” Sunshine continued. “Someone tried to kill Andy. And used a cake meant for Tyler to do it. But Tyler took the wrong piece.”
Then Andy's phone buzzed.
ONE NEW MESSAGE:
“You were supposed to be next.”
Sunshine grabbed the phone. “We have a killer among us.”
And that killer just realized… they missed their target.
Andy smiled, slowly. “Guess they’ve never played with Sunshine before.”
