Chapter 1 – Through the Shattered Veil
Rain drummed against the glass of the subway car, blurred lights streaking past in neon smears. Elara sat hunched against the window, her black hood drawn tight, earbuds in but music off. She preferred silence. It made it easier to drown out the noise of the world and the gnawing ache of not belonging to it.
"It's peaceful and nice" Elara felt like something was gonna happen she can't explain it until the ground shakes and the sky turned dark.
The car stopped both her and the driver got out of the car and looked at the sky "What is that!?" She said to herself.
What she saw was some kind of rift opening in the sky.
The air changed soon she didn't feel the ground that's when she looked down and saw the ground getting smaller "WHAT IS HAPPENING!?" Elara then felt a sharp tug pull her through the ripple of the unknown portal in the sky.
Silence, Darkness nothing can be heard nor see anything.
She felt herself just floating in a endless Abbyss she has no idea how long she's been in this place.
Time passed by which felt like hours to weeks, months, years she felt her memories starting to get blurry because of the time she's been stuck.
'please get me out I can't..' she was cut off after feeling getting pulled out of wherever she was.
That's when she felt something pocking her face and rust on her face. When Elara opened her eyes she was laying on a hill against a tree.
She looked to her side and saw a rocks that were kinda like a tombstone "Where..is this?" Elara then turned her head towards the loud noise she saw a small village but didn't see a single human just monsters.
"This is..?" She had no idea where she is because of still being disoriented.
