MY ANGEL

On February 9th, 2014, I received a horrible phone call informing me that one of my best friends passed away.

At first I thought it was a cruel joke that was being played on me once again.

When I realized the person wasn't joking my heart was instantly shaded into pieces.

I think back on our last conversation we had.

Monica I miss you so much, I know deep down you wanted your cousin and I to work out our issues. I'm sorry we didn't.

I will admit I wish we could have worked it out for you.

~

I was heartbroken that he wouldn't tell me when or where your funeral was because he wasn’t attending himself.

~

All I wanted to do is pay my respect as well as say my final goodbye to you…

I love you Monica, I hope you are at peace and I know you are my angel watching over me until we meet again homegurl.
