Summary

A Poem from the short story the promise keeper: A vow older than time, unshaken by storm, fire, or shadow. A word spoken once, yet echoing through generations—woven into blood, sky, and soul. This is not just a poem, but a covenant… a reminder that promises made in truth cannot be broken, not by night, nor by death, nor by silence.

Poem: The Covenant Of The Word

I spoke a word, and it rose like dawn,

Not bound to seasons, nor to time withdrawn.

It threads the stars, it whispers through the earth,

A covenant born before your mortal birth.

It bends no knee to winds, to frost, to rain,

It holds the fire through joy, through grief, through pain.

A vow carved deep in bones, in blood, in sky,

Echoing through the heartbeats that will never die.

To you, to yours, this sacred promise clings,

An unseen river beneath all mortal things.

No shadow dims it, no night can undo,

The ancient truth: my word remains with you.

It moves unseen through forests, mountains, streams,

Through lineage, through laughter, through the weaving of dreams.

Not a whisper, not a breath, can make it sway,

It is the dawn eternal, the unbroken day.
