1- Update

I can’t believe Angel convinced me to start a journal.
The things I do for this woman lol.
It’s been over a year since my mom came back to us, and it’s been crazy.
My mom and Dad reconnected, and her memories of her past self have slowly been coming back to her, but there’s still a long way to go. My relationship with her has been forming slowly since I still don’t remember her at all. I only know for certain she’s my mother because the paternity results I requested proved that Angel’s theory was correct.
My relationship with Angel has been a tricky one, and I think she’s secretly feeling the effects of the differences between our relationship and everybody else’s, especially when they mention sex.
We’ve been together since we were 18. I’m now 21, and Angel will be turning 21 in a couple of months. 3 years is a long time for any relationship to go without being intimate in that way, but being that our relationship isn’t one that’s supposed to be possible, there are way too many unknowns. We were lucky that we both could use magic because it was the only way we were able to complete the mate bond marks.
When the topic of sex comes up we either stay quiet or change the subject or we’ll blame us not having sex on Chase’s over protectiveness but the truth is Chase has nothing to do with it and he and Cari respect that Angel and I are being cautious and not risking our lives to be intimate in that way. I would have preferred that they didn’t know about our sex life, but Angel spoke to her mom about vampire-werewolf relationships and the way werewolves complete the mate bond, since Angel and I found a loophole with us being able to mark each other. Cari put two and two together and figured it out, then of course she spoke with Chase about it and he couldn’t help himself but pull me to the side one day to thank me for not thinking with my dick and risking both Angel’s and my life. That whole thing was awkward as fuck and I was so glad when Cari came to my rescue and lured Chase away.
Sophie (my mom, yes, she still wants to go by Sophie and stated that her middle name can be Larissa) and Dan (my dad) has been taking full advantage that I am the king of the vampire clan and they’re enjoying their freedom from responsibility’s, but if I need them they’re available since they decided to remain living in the castle.
Angel and I moved in together a month ago, even though we aren’t married or engaged. We built our dream home between the castle and the pack house so we can be close to everyone but still have our private space.
Christian and Clarissa started living together not that long after they got engaged, and Cynthia, Helen, and Alex decided to move in together a few months after they got engaged.
Karen already took over as queen, and Sarina is happy with how much she changed while she was here in the pack.
Angel still isn’t the pack’s Alpha by name, because she keeps telling Cari that she’s not ready to take over yet. I don’t understand why she doesn’t want to yet, and the only reason she gives me is a shrug, so I haven’t asked her in a long time why she feels she’s not ready.....I know she’s ready, especially because she is already doing her Alpha duties just without the official title.
Damn..... Angel just walked by me wearing only my shirt.....goddess help me....I don’t wish this torture on anyone, but I will say that I prefer to have her by my side and deal with this torture than not have her by my side at all.
I gotta go, she’s way too distracting lol.
