Notes

I walked along with my staff in hand; but everything was getting all weird, and the path that I was on didn’t even seem to be a path anymore!!!…

And so then I turned around so that I could walk the other way, but now there was no path to go on in that direction either!…

And then suddenly! everything began melting around me!…; and now I was tumbling down, down, down…

And then I woke up!, and I was thankful to find that I was not tumbling down anymore!…

What a weird dream that I’d just been having…

Ah, well…; the sun was shining through my window, and so I decided to get up instead of trying to go back to sleep again; and so then I got up, and then I went over to the kitchen and got some food and coffee made…; and then I began happily eating the food and drinking the coffee…

Then I suddenly! heard a sound like something hitting my door, and so then I got up with coffee in hand and walked over to the door; and then I opened the door, and then I noticed that there was a newspaper that was on the ground in front of my house…

“Hmmm…” I mumbled in a confused tone of voice, “That newspaper must’ve hit my door when it was delivered; but I don’t have a newspaper subscription, and so there must’ve been some mistake…” and so then I got some shoes on, and then I walked outside, picked up the newspaper, and then headed over to my next door neighbor’s house because that house was the only house that was very close to mine, and so I figured that the newspaper had probably been meant for my neighbor…

And so then I was soon knocking on my neighbor’s door, and then I was surprised when someone who I didn’t know answered the door instead of the person who’d always lived there before…; and so then I said, “Hello…

I’m Decker, and are you visiting here or something?…” and then she said, “Hey, Decker!…

And nope!…

I bought this house from the person who owned it before, and so it’s mine now…

Or, at least, I made a payment on the house; and I’ve agreed to keep on making more payments until the house is paid off, anyway…

Oh!, and I’m Yanna!; by the way!…” and then I said, “Well, it’s good to meet you, Yanna!…

And you weren’t supposed to be receiving a newspaper, were you?…

I only ask because this newspaper was delivered to my home today, and I don’t have a newspaper subscription and have never had a newspaper delivered to my abode before…” and then Yanna said, “Hmmm…

That’s odd…

And, nope…; I haven’t signed up for any newspaper subscriptions, and so I don’t have any idea why that newspaper was delivered to you…” and then I said, “Fair enough…

Well, it was nice meeting you; and if you ever want help with anything or want information about what there is to do around here then feel free to give my door a knock, and I’ll try to be of assistance if I can!…” and then Yanna said, “Cool beans!…

And you’re always welcome to give my door a knock if you want help with something too!…” and then I waved farewell to her, and then she waved farewell to me, and then I headed back into my abode…

But now I still had this newspaper with me, and so I then decided that I’d just toss it onto my couch and then see if anyone would end up coming to my abode and asking me for the newspaper…

And so then before long I was finishing up the breakfast that I’d been eating before the newspaper delivery had interrupted me; and then once breakfast was completed I decided to get my favorite walking stick out so that I could go for a nice hike!…

And so then before long I was hiking along on one of my favorite hiking trails, and I was feeling pretty good about life!…

But then suddenly! I saw someone else hiking on the trail, and then I noticed that he had a bag full of newspapers that he was carrying!…; and so then I said, “Hello!…

I’m Decker, and there was a newspaper that was delivered to my abode by mistake earlier today…; and so do you happen to know who might’ve delivered it?…” and then the man said, “Oh yeah!…

That was probably me!…

See, there’s this dude who gave me some money and told me to deliver newspapers to as many houses as possible; and so I accepted the money and delivered all of the newspapers, and then when I returned to him to let him know that all of the newspapers had been delivered he gave me even more money and told me to deliver even more newspapers!; and so then I set off to deliver more newspapers, but then I got lost on this trail; and so now I’m trying to figure out how to find more houses to deliver these newspapers to!…” and then I said, “Hmmm…

Well, I guess I can help you find more houses; though we might wanna create some notes to send along with the newspapers that’ll explain to folks that the newspapers are just being randomly delivered to people’s houses…” and then the person who was carrying the bag of newspapers said, “Woohoo!…

Thanks for the help, Decker; and that makes sense to deliver some notes along with the newspapers, just so that people don’t get unnecessarily confused!…

Oh!; and I’m Stiles!, by the way!…” and then I said, “It’s nice to meet you, Stiles!; and so just follow me, and I’ll lead you to my abode so that we can make some notes, and then I’ll show you where some more houses are if you aren’t sure how to get to more houses!…” and then Stiles said, “Sounds good!…

And I’ll probably be able to find more houses after you lead me to your abode and help me make some notes; and so you probably won’t have to worry about helping me find more houses!…” and then I said, “Very good!…

Either way is fine with me!…” and then I led Stiles towards my abode; and then once we reached my abode I got some pens and papers out, and then the 2 of us began writing a bunch of notes that could be delivered along with the newspapers that would explain to people that the newspapers were being randomly delivered to houses…

Rianna Reid: This story was amazing! I love the romance between Lily and Zee. It was so cute while being spicy at the same time. The different world was also a nice touch! I only wish that we got more of a showdown on Earth, but besides that, a fantastic midnight read!
