Dreams of a Goddess
The sounds off gentle waves and the light caressing of hands awake me from my slumber as a mysterious voice calls out to me beckoning me to awaken,
"T..ime ...t..get...u...de..awn...", sounds the voice from a distance, stirring me from my sleep,"Time to get up Deshawn..."sounds the voice once more, fully waking me up
"...where am I?" I say picking myself up from the cream colored sand and take a look around taking in the new scenery of this perfect beach complete with a semi briny breeze.
"Your here with me..." says the mysterious voice, "...In your subconscious..." says the voice, "What does that mean where am I" I ask the voice in which I get no response only the sound of the crashing waves on the rocks fill my ears
"we are in the deepest part of your subconscious that part of your brain that is always alert whether your awake or asleep" sounds the voice once again from behind me
"what the hell does that even mean I'm not understanding anyth-" I say as the Lady cuts me off, "I understand that you can't really comprehend what is going right now, but you will later" the woman says while beginning to walk away from me,
"wait up! who are you?" I say as the woman dissipates into thin air, "what the hell?!?" I say to myself as the woman reappears several feet away, "I know a lot of things about you Deshawn" she says while looking at me for the first time, the immediate thing I notice about her are her striking sunset orange eyes,
"how do you know my name?" I question her, "I already told you I know a lot about you" she cryptically says to me making me more confused about this whole mess
"you've never explained how you know about me" I say to her , "you will learn in due time my love" she says walking closer to me as the ground begins to disappear from under our feet
"What's going on?!? and where did the ground go!?!" I ask her to which she does not respond. I take another look at her for reassurance, but to only see her eyes, lips, and the outline of her body was engulfed in the same fiery orange glow that sparkled in her eyes
"See you later my love" she says before dissipating into thin air and lets me drop into the all-consuming black abyss...
