Author's Note
Greetings! Noah here. Anyone heard of the webcomic Rankless by Magma Doodle on Webtoon? This is an AU that takes place in one of the other Colonies of Kosia, Blackvalley. The Blackvalley Colony is a more outwardly hostile clony, and lives in the mountains. Not much is known about them from other neighboring colonies like Whitegate, but this is where Echo, our main character, grew up.
The original story, continent, territories, and other colonies all belong to Magma Doodle on Webtoon (go read the original webcomic on Webtoon, it's good). Blackvalley itself technically belongs to Magma as well, but their way of life, rank style, and characters within the colony belong to me.
Ths AU contains implications and scenes of attempted suicide and depression, animal death, blood/gore, anxiety/PTSD, and other triggers that will be put at the beginning of the pages that need them.
