One short

As usual, she started closing the windows before dusk, her heart pounding.

"Hey Helena, why are you closing the windows?

Look at how beautiful the view is from the window,"

Kate said, trying to open the window.

"Don't open the window, I feel strange whenever I look out the window in the evening,"

Helena said, holding Kate's arm, hiding the real reason.

"You're a strange, critical girl.

What's so strange about this? It's such a beautiful place,"

Kate said, rolling her eyes and trying to open the window again.

While Helena was still holding her arm, preventing her efforts from succeeding.

"Don't, please don't. Listen to me!

This place is not as beautiful as it looks.

Please don't,"

Helena said, looking at the window like a stubborn child, where darkness was now spreading.

Kate was a little surprised to hear her words, and also a little curious.

"Hey, what's that there?

If you don't want to see it, don't look, but let me see it,"

Kate said, removing Helena's hand from her arm and opening the window.

She saw that there was nothing there.

"Now look, there's nothing like the strange behavior you're showing here,"

Kate said, fixing her eyes in front of her and shaking her head, without realizing it,

Helena's breathing started to hitch.

She felt threatened. She wanted to tell her something, wanted to stop her, but her steps and breathing were like chains.

Before she could control her breathing and say something to Kate or stop her, Kate moved forward and went to the balcony.

When Kate took a step, the ground started shaking so much that her steps faltered.

The noise around her started to increase so much that her eardrums started to burst.

The wind blew so much that she felt that this storm would engulf her too.

Kate looked up and saw that at that moment a girl with a half-burnt face and a blood-red eye appeared at the window, a terrifying girl named Edwina.

Seeing her, Edwina smiled in a special way, shaking her neck, and blood also started dripping from her mouth, which instead of falling on the ground, started flying in the air like a dust.

Edwina started attacking Kate as she moved forward, and Kate screamed out of shock. As soon as she heard the scream, Helena's feet were freed from the chains.

As soon as she breathed, she started breathing. She ran towards Kate and grabbed her arm and pulled her towards her.

She also tried to stop herself from moving forward, but by then Edwina had already attacked Helena.

She wanted to scream, but Edwina disappeared from the window as soon as she saw her.

And Helena's scream was also muffled somewhere. And at the same time.

The ground had stopped.

The noise had stopped.

The wind had stopped.

Kate went forward with a beating heart and looked under the balcony, it seemed as if nothing had happened.

Everything was the same as before. The beautiful scene began to appear again. For a moment, it seemed like everything was a dream.

Looking at this beautiful scene, Helena's frightened voice rang in Kate's ears.

"This place is not as beautiful as it looks,"

Kate's head started to feel heavy, her eyes slowly started to close, her ears started to ring, the sound echoing in her ears started to fade,

She was about to stagger and fall when her eyes opened with a jolt.

Kate looked around with a heavy mind, and found a calm environment, and her breath caught.

"No, no, that can't be happening at all, that can't be happening.

It was just a dream, just a dream,"

Kate calmed down quite a bit by reassuring herself.

"She'll be fine too, she'll be fine. Do dreams come true? Helena will be fine."

Kate thought as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.

There was a knock on the door and she was startled. Seeing the girl coming in, she was confused.

"Who are you, what are you doing here?"

She asked the girl with confused eyes.

"I am Nurse Telutma, Miss Helena asked me to take care of you,"

Nurse Telutma said politely.

Whereas Kate was grateful to hear Helena's name, she was taken aback by the mention of taking care of her.

"Care?

Why?

For what?!

What happened to me?

Why didn't Helena come to see me herself?" Kate asked several questions at once.

"Your health had deteriorated, so Miss Helena asked me to take care of it.

But congratulations, you have regained consciousness, it has been more than a week since you fainted."

"I'll tell Miss Helena,"

Nurse Telutma said with a smile but didn't move from her place.

"For more than a week?"

Kate fell silent, her breathing hitched.

"Can you give me some water, please?"

Kate said pleadingly, rubbing her cheek, then Nurse Telutma came to her with a strange smile, picking up the jug.

"Now that you're in such a bad state, this water jug is perfect, right?"

Nurse Telutma, still smiling, held out the jug.

As soon as Kate wanted to take the jug, Nurse Telutma dropped the jug on the ground, and the water began to spill out, turning into blood. Kate watched the water falling from the jug with shocked eyes,

But she didn't want to look ahead, she felt sure that this must be the same Edwina.

She had lied.

It was all true, not a dream.

Nurse Telutma slowly walked closer to Kate and held her jaw with her blood-stained hands. Kate closed her eyes.

"Open your eyes,"

Nurse Telutma shouted in a loud voice.

Kate was still sitting with her eyes closed.

"I said, open your eyes. And look at me,

I'm not Nurse Telutma, I'm Helena,"

Helena said, clenching her jaw.

Kate opened her eyes and looked at Helena in disbelief, who was looking at her with bloodshot eyes.

She wasn't Edwina, nor was she Nurse Telutma. She was Helena, her friend Helena.

Helena looked at Kate with bloodshot eyes and dug her nails into her cheek.

Kate screamed.

Helena smiled and jerked Kate's jaw up hard, pushing the hair away from her neck and sinking her teeth into it.

A few moments later, Helena was jerking back, swallowing a piece of her neck. Kate's screams rose again, louder than before.

"I told you not to open the window, but you did? You didn't listen to me, did you?"

Helena dug her nails into the cut part of Kate's neck.

Instead of saying anything, Kate screamed, so much so that the whole house began to echo with her screams.

"Scream and scream, scream loudly.

I screamed as much I was in as much pain as you are,"

She jerked her neck in a characteristic way and screamed in a loud voice.

Kate's screams had now faded and had completely stopped.

Helena had taken her life.

"I am your friend, your companion, where I will live, you will also live there."

"So how did you even think that by sending me there I would let you live here alone in peace and quiet?"

Helena, addressing her useless existence, picked her up and carried her to her place.

There where Helena was, with Edwina.

The End!
