Summary

The Great Mage Kyros Magnus is the most powerful being in the world. His magic is peerless, his pranks legendary, and his looks breathtaking. He is the savior of the world (multiple times) and a great hero respected and adored by millions, while also being married to a beautiful, billionaire high elven princess, but... being awesome does not mean much when you are a jobless bum who is dependent on your highly competent wife for a monthly allowance, or when you are being terrorized by your best friend (who also happens to be the Queen of the realm) for the prank you pulled on her last week. Kyros might have the ability to manipulate space and time, but he still has to live his life each day, subject to mortal laws and petty regulations, and the expectations of his loved ones, with the occasional time travel and dark lord thrown in there somewhere.

Episode Guide

Story 1: Appreciation Society - The Great Mage Kyros Magnus is away on a mission, and his wife Liriel is missing him dearly. Queen Sera persuades Lady Magnus to attend a meeting of the Kyros Magnus Appreciation Society in disguise.

What starts out as a simple outing between two friends devolves into a test of patience as Liriel has to endure the fans shipping her husband with various other women, and Sera has to keep her anger in check when a fan play depicts her as tragically pining over her best friend Kyros.

The story also features a panel, a poll, a precocious child, and a petty princess.

Story 2: Men’s Rights -The Great Mage Kyros Magnus is annoyed that he has been cut off from his monthly stipend by his wife Lady Liriel. At the local tavern, he finds kindred, disgruntled souls in a human war veteran, a dwarf banker, a dark elven intern, and an orc turtle merchant. After validating each others grievances, these five very drunk guys decide to form the Meridian Men’s Rights Group.

Aided by a ten-year-old girl and her introverted minion, they manage to protest before the palace for their ‘rights’ and draw Queen Sera’s ire. Later, they go on a quest to the sewers and find someone they did not expect.

Will the men manage to earn their ‘rights’ before their wives or sobriety catches up with them? Will the Great Mage get back his stipend?

Shawna: I really enjoying reading this book, I read it twice back to back just in case I missed something lol. Mira & Devryan are actually perfectly fit one another, even when they tried to deny it. You could tell that he wanted her, human or mystic, he was just scared to admit it to himself. She was scared...
