Tower

Hello!…

My name is Heidi!…

And one day a carpenter named Woody finished building a tower that I had paid him to build with money that a magician had given to me.

See, the magician had told me that the only way that I could have a bunch of money would be if I used some of it to have a huge tower built; and so then I had accepted the money from the magician and then had paid Woody to build the huge tower, and then eventually the huge tower had been fully built!…

And it ended up looking great too!…

A magnificent tower!, indeed!…

And, yes, just in case you’re wondering, I did end up moving into the tower because it was a pretty epic tower!…

And so now I was living in the marvelous tower that Woody had built for me!; and it was tall enough that the top of it was often hidden by clouds on cloudy days, and so I liked to go to the top of the tower on cloudy days and just look out at the clouds that were around me!…

And so, anyhoo, then one day as I was looking out at some beautiful clouds! I saw that one of the clouds looked like a giant snail!…

And so I naturally continued looking out at the cloud that looked like a giant snail; and then the cloud gradually got closer and closer to me, and then to my great surprise! the cloud that looked like a snail went into my tower through a giant open window!, and it was at that point that I began to wonder if perhaps this was somehow actually a real giant snail and wasn’t actually a cloud at all!…

And so then I said, “Hey there!…

Are you a cloud or a snail?…” and then to my great surprise! the giant snail said, “I am a snail!, and I kinda like it up here in this tower!…

And, I mean, I’ve gotta go right now, but can I come back another time perhaps?…” and then I said, “Absolutely!…

And I’m Heidi!, btw; and it’s good to meet you, and my tower is your tower as far as I’m concerned!…” and then the snail said, “Thanks, Heidi!…

And it’s good to meet you too!…

And my name is Snail!…” and then, suddenly!, a cloud sped! into the tower through the giant open window, and then the cloud went beneath Snail and then sped! Snail out of the giant open window!…; and as Snail sped! away on the speedy! cloud Snail said, “It was nice to meet you, Heidi!…” and then I said, “Thanks!, Snail!…

And it was nice to meet you too!…” though by the time that I had finished saying those words the speedy cloud had already sped! Snail so far away from the tower that I wasn’t sure whether Snail had heard my words or not…

Though I had already said that it was good to meet Snail earlier, and so even if Snail hadn’t heard the last words that I’d said at least it had still been clear that both of us had been happy to meet each other…

And so now I was left to wonder how in the multiverse snails could get so big AND how in the multiverse snails were sometimes able to talk in the human language!…

Hmmm…

Ummmmmm…

Yeah, those were definitely questions, alright…

And I supposed that perhaps the snail had actually been a robot snail or something like that; but the snail had seemed pretty real, and the cloud that had sped! Snail away had seemed pretty real too!…

Although did clouds usually have the ability to hold things up in the air?…

Hmmmm…

I didn’t think that they did, but I supposed that I could test! out whether the clouds that were currently near my tower could hold things up in the air…

And so then I got a piece of paper out of a nearby drawer, and then I crumpled it up and then tossed! it out of the nearby giant window!; and then the crumpled up paper did disappear from sight, but as far as I knew it was still possible that the crumpled up paper had been stopped inside of a cloud; and so then I went down to the bottom of the tower as quickly! as I safely could, and then once I exited the tower through the main door that was at the bottom of it I looked around for the crumpled up paper!…

And then I did indeed find the crumpled up paper!…; and so this meant that not all clouds in the sky could support weight being placed onto them, but it still seemed possible that perhaps some clouds could support weight being placed onto them and some clouds couldn’t support weight being placed onto them…

And so it still did seem possible that a real snail named Snail had actually talked to me and that a real cloud had sped! Snail away from the tower!…; and so the fact that the crumpled up paper had fallen past some of the clouds in the sky didn’t really mean that real clouds didn’t sometimes speed around with real talking snails on top of them…

Though, of course, the possibility that the cloud and the snail had been robots was one that still seemed like it might be true to me…

But then there was also the fact that Snail had voiced an interest in maybe returning to the tower sometime in the future, and so perhaps Snail would return someday and then maybe some of the answers to some of my questions might be revealed!…

Very good!…

But, anyhoo…; now that I had checked out what had happened with the crumpled up piece of paper that I’d dropped into some of the clouds that were in the sky I wanted to return to the top of the tower!; and so then I quickly began heading back up to the top of the tower again!…
