Summary

Sometimes I think, but seldom do those thoughts form a story, yet occasionally I still like them. These are not stores, but instead concepts that I wish to make into stories, but haven't been able to think of anything

Forgetting, truly forgetting

There are two types of forgetting.

I never hear anybody speak of this phenomenon, so I would like to bring it to your attention.

The first kind is just the absence of remembering. Meaning you “forgot”, but if somebody brings it to your attention you’ll suddenly go ”ooohh, I remember that!”.

But the second kind of forgetting is the inability to bring back into your memory.

That is the one that really scares me.

Just imagine it, something amazing happens to you, and you suddenly have no recollation of doing it when somebody speaks fondly of the time.

If you think “No, I’m sure I would remember if that happened!” How? How could you remember something that never existed to your brain?

This is something that truly makes me contemplate my existence.
