Introduction

Hello! I’m Catherine Victoria Christie, Wattpad Creator, and author of the Claxton Tetralogy on Wattpad. I am also a Boot Camp Mentor. I work with writers who are interested in taking their storytelling to the next level through the Boot Camp Mentorship Program.

What is the Boot Camp Mentorship Program?

It’s an established writing community that supports writers through mentorships, workshops, and camaraderie, helping them build their storytelling cred.

How can someone apply to work with a Boot Camp Mentor?

If you’re interested in working with a Boot Camp Mentor, your first step is to visit the @bootcampmentors profile and research all you can. Most of your questions can be answered in their Profile Guide. I also encourage you to join their Discord server and start engaging with the community there. You’ll find the Discord link in BCM’s bio.

For outside Wattpad, feel free to DM me!

Why am I a Boot Camp Mentor?

My first novella, Milo and Maisie, has just been internationally published--yay!--and I want to share my journey and how important editing, revisions, and patience are if you dream of becoming a better or an established writer. It took me seventeen years of writing to get to where I am today, and I love helping other writers and readers who share my dreams. It has been my dream to work with an official mentoring group ever since I tried the Boot Camp Mentors in 2022, and I have worked hard to become a mentor myself. I am very excited to be here, to help others, and to learn and grow during this program.
