"It was a bit exhausting rereading the information from the first book but I do understand that it is needed if the book is to be read as a stand alone and not as a part of a series if the reader hasn't read book 1. But barring that I did enjoy the storyline."

"The story of the growth of the protagonists and the action thriller plot work well. The melding of all the characters into one soggy sweet sentimental family who spend their days in a loved up trance, where never is heard a discouraging word and the skys are not cloudy all day, is far more unreal than the psychic fantasy. Combine this with the centre character being a saint without any apparent effort or reason and the good work of the well made, if extravagant thriller, is dissipated considerably. "
