Summary

Pieces of Me is a poetry and song lyrics collection from the mind of one complex and unusual being. Some of the poetry bleeds out honesty, while some are complete fabrications of L. M. Stephens II's immense imagination. The song lyrics are from her soul, which is like a caged bird with a bleeding heart. "Who is she talking about?" you wonder. Perhaps no one at all. As with original fiction and fanfiction, L. M. Stephens II has been writing poetry and song lyrics since elementary school. Her mother used to enjoy reading the pieces and often encouraged her to publish. As time passed, adulthood became hectic. Writing was pushed aside and left abandoned on desktops and flash drives. Now, with more time on her hands and support from a fellow writer, L. M. Stephens II is pushing these pieces out there for an audience to enjoy. Discover the mind, body, and soul of the writer piece by piece. Enjoy the deep, thought-provoking fragments along with the epic tales of adventure. Enjoy the characters and surrender yourself to the emotional release of song lyrics and poetry. At the end of the journey, you will find yourself more open-minded, relaxed, entertained, and inspired. Delve in!

Alicia and the Pot

When Alicia takes a squat,

she’ll stay on the pot,

whether you gotta go or not.

Your gut can ache and bubble,

even flip over and gurgle,

but she still won’t get up.

Honestly, I kinda think the seat

is glued to her butt.

It kinda makes sense

that she’s always on it,

cuz dude, look at the size

of her gut!

You can wobble and hop,

try to hold your pee

and plead,

“Alicia, get off the pot!”

She’ll shake her head and say,

“Not!”

Man, I had to go one time.

I thought I was at a stadium

standing in line.

I peeked in on her,

and she was lighting a smoke.

I said, “Hurry up!”

She said, “Shut up and

bring me my Coke!”

I looked in again,

and she was reading a book!

I said, “Hurry up!”

She said, “I want some burritos.

Go, cook!”

I brought her burritos

and what did I see?

She done rolled in a TV!

I said, “Hurry up and do

what you gotta do!”

She said, “I’ll get up

after watching Doctor Who!”

I had to pee so bad

my teeth were swimming!

I passed out on the floor

from waste overload.

Then she got up

and said, “Now you can go.”

Linda Searle: This is not your typical I hate you I love you scenario. This is something almost real. Ellie as a character is refreshing and had me both laughing and crying often. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something different.

LoveMC52: Wow, this was written so beautifully, so fantastically. I loved how you highlighted the difference in professional direction between the AHL & NHL, so few authors of hockey-romance/erotica take the time to do that. I appreciate the full story both as a hockey and romance/erotica fan. Thank you for t...
