"Wow. You had moral in this story: don't revenge like he did. Be careful with what decisions you make. This was a quick, efficient and interesting short story: dark and powerful. I like your plot, and the way the story progressed, returning from the past to Yuri and the shopkeeper. I'm sorry about the girl, as well as the father and the anger that ended up being such poison both against his enemy and him. Nice work!"

"The story read like a parable which was appropriate for the plot. I enjoyed the way it flitted along as though you were catching snatches of it at a pace, and the (for want of a better word) old-fashionedness of it. It played out almost in the style of a Hammer Horror movie, with a clear beginning, middle, and end.. The one downside is that there are only a few characters so you soon realise how it is going to pan out, but that doesn't really detract from it overall. Aside from a couple of spelling and grammatical errors, the whole thing was structured well. I'd enjoy reading more."
