# Spider Fuser: The Secret Hero
## Part 2 – The Illusion Trap
Dharun, also known as Spider Fuser, swung through the city and landed on the roof of Kingpin's headquarters. The massive building stood high above the streets, guarded by security cameras and armed guards.
"Kingpin must be hiding something important in there," Dharun whispered.
He slipped through a rooftop entrance and quietly entered the building. The hallways were strangely empty.
"That's odd," he said.
As he walked deeper into the tower, the lights suddenly flickered.
His spider-sense began to tingle wildly.
Before he could react, a bright purple flash filled the hallway.
Everything around him changed.
The walls disappeared.
The floor vanished.
Dharun suddenly found himself standing in the middle of his school classroom.
"What?" he gasped.
His teacher was writing on the board. His classmates were sitting at their desks as if nothing had happened.
"Dharun, where is your homework?" the teacher asked.
For a moment, everything seemed real.
But something felt wrong.
His spider-sense continued to warn him.
"This isn't real," Dharun said.
The classroom instantly transformed into a dark forest. Strange shadows moved between the trees. Then the forest became a giant maze. Every turn led him back to the same place.
He realized he had been trapped in a powerful **illusion chamber** hidden inside Kingpin's building.
A voice echoed through the darkness.
"Welcome, Spider Fuser."
It was Kingpin.
"You may be strong, but you cannot fight what isn't real."
The maze twisted and changed shape. Giant monsters appeared from the shadows and rushed toward Dharun.
Dharun clenched his fists.
"If this is an illusion," he said, "then I just need to find what's real."
Closing his eyes, he focused on his spider-sense. The monsters vanished. The maze began to crack like broken glass.
A small red light appeared in the distance.
"The projector!" Dharun shouted.
He swung toward the light and smashed the illusion machine with a powerful kick.
CRASH!
The fake world shattered into thousands of glowing fragments.
Dharun found himself back inside Kingpin's headquarters.
But before he could celebrate, a huge metal door opened at the end of the hallway.
Heavy footsteps echoed through the building.
THUD.
THUD.
THUD.
Something enormous was coming.
And whatever it was, Kingpin had been saving it for Spider Fuser.
