Chapter 1
Zoel, the god of life and Hela, goddess of death, rightful rulers to the golden haven, finally they gave birth to twins, I the first born named Procast, my twin brother, named Fortim, my brother had the gifts of the past, he could go back to any time to know the history of the place, while I was gifted with the gifts of the future, I could see the future, together me and my brother could control the present, we often stopped time in our favour to play games, no one was immune to it, a person can only break free once we lose focus of each other or we get into a disagreement.
"Procast, if you fight like this , you won't be able to defend your honor". My father said after striking me down with one punch, he stood tall with his hair glowing like that of the sun, falling over his hair, his muscles shining from the small sweat that he broke while I sparred with him. This is the first time that I've ever made him sweat like this. I was just a young boy, a teenager compared to my dad that's over a century.
His blue eyes began to glow, I felt like it was going to be another bone crushing experienced and winced as he glitched his arm.
"Are you trying to kill our son?". My mother stepped forth with my brother standing close behind her. Her dark flowing hair that stops all the way to the waist, any mortal will be prepared to go to the underworld with her appearance at the point of their death. Her pale skin in contrast to my dad's tanned skin, her eyes grey just like her powers deadly. She always adorned herself in dark flowing robes that felt like the night sky, always looking so calm.
"No wonder the mortals complain about you". She snarled at him before bending over to check my face, she never liked anything to hurt my flawless face, my brother later comes up to greet my dad, and my father who always wears a cold stoned expression around me beamed with joy when seeing him, messing with Fortim's hair as he chuckled and arranged it back. I felt bitterness surge through me. The kind that I never felt unless when my parents pay attention to my brother. My mother always made her best effort not to show who her favorite was but my father never hid it. He'll train me so hard, that at times I'll faint during our session and he leaves me there until the next morning not bothering to wake him up but when it comes to my brother he'll just blow at his face and my father acts like he has been defeated by his worse enemy.
I always wanted to remind him that me and my brother are of the same age but I believe that it's because one day I'll be the one defending our realms as the rightful ruler of the golden haven. That's why I still tolerate my brother Fortim. He's nothing like me, he is everything my father might have been when he was young, his gold bouncy hair, his piercing blue eyes, his pink lips, I'm sure my dad was eager to watch him grow into a man. I took a different form, not even from my mom, I had silver hair, with red eyes, never did I like the way it looked on me, my mom always held my face with tears in her eyes, swearing that I'm unique, maybe cause I'm like her half brother who got swallowed by one of the pets from the sea god. I always looked at my brother with disdain, I only ever smiled at him when I think of the time he'll be on his knees in front of me, when he'll be bowing to me, but that all changed until we turned 15, the arguments between my mom and dad were getting more and more heated. I never saw them fight under any circumstance, my dad was always smitten by my mom, he always agreed with whatever he says. For months they didn't speak until one day they came back from a meeting and were all rosy like when I was a child, I had to know what transpired between them. So I stood at the door, waiting for them to talk about anything. Anything that could give me clues.
